Outside the school building, filled with students walking around, in friendship groups, talking about their personal lives or what they recently done in their social lives.

A bus parks in front of the school. The bus door opens, revealing students coming out of the bus. Amy and Joe are part of it. They rode in the bus together.

"Another day, as always."

"Cheer up, the day will go fast anyway." Amy, reassuring Joe that everything will be fine. Nothing can go wrong. Just before Amy and Joe go inside the building...

Vibration, coming from Joe's right pocket. Joe picks it up. Looking at it, revealing Danny's name in the phone homepage.

"Danny's calling you?" asked Amy. They look at each other. Realising Danny isn't in school today. Looking around, they only see a couple of students. Not Danny, nor Tom. Amy and Joe give one last look at each other before picking up.

"Hello."

"Joe, hey it's me." Said Danny.

"Hey Danny. What's up? Joe's phone is in speaker, enabling Amy to hear what Danny is saying from the other end.

"I just need to tell you. And Amy, that I won't make it to school today." Joe and Amy look at each other. Shocked and surprised over what Danny has said, while also wondering what made him not want to come to school today.

Amy grabs Joe's phone. Joe looks at her with surprise and annoyance, based on the way she grabbed it. Rude of her. "What do you mean you won't make it to school?"

They both look at each other. Hearing a small silence coming from Danny. Before he responds on the other end of the call. "Something happened last night." Amy and Joe start to worry for Danny. Unsure what's going on or why Danny is acting a bit weird on the call. Thinking their way out of the confusion from their minds.

"What do you mean something happened last night?" In a worried tone from Joe.

Danny responds, "I don't know but I don't feel like talking about it right now." They look at each other. It's properly personal for him. Continuing asking him about it would trigger a terrible reaction for Danny. They look at each other, still worried, but decides to let it off for now since they're going inside school to begin their school day. Giving Danny silence on his end, Amy and Joe think for a second.

Amy responds. "If you're not gonna make it to school, what are you doing then... in your house?" They don't hear anything from Danny from the other end. Until...

"I'm gonna take care of my sister. And if you're asking me, 'it's because of what happened last night', yeah it is." Joe doesn't respond immediately. Unsure of what to say next. Amy thinks of something. Before...

She approaches Joe's ear. Whispering. "Ask Danny if we could drop by his home." Joe becomes a little unsure about it. Thinking Danny wouldn't want it to happen, would let him mind his own business. "You sure about that?"

"I'm not too sure but I only asked that cause, I just want to check up on him and to see if he's okay. You know, like what you used to do to me when I'm upset and stuff." Joe thinks for a second. Might not be a bad idea and also could be something they could both do to be with Danny, talk to him, make sure he's alright and do something together, if he feels like it.

"If you're not going to make it to school, we can drop by your house once the day is done. Besides one visit couldn't hurt." They don't hear anything from Danny. Danny is a bit hesitant about it and they know he wouldn't give them a quick response.

"Yeah sure. Drop by whenever you and Amy are both done. I don't mind you guys visiting me." Amy smiles at this. Joe is happy to hear that answer.

"Great, we'll meet you there after school."
