Three

It took quite some time for you to explain things to the others. Apparently it's extremely shocking that you've gone roughly four hundred years without the demon lord knowing of your existence. Though, the explanation is actually quite simple.

With your abilities you've completely mastered hiding anything that could give away what you are- aura, scent, sounds, etc. Plus, it helps that you still look insanely human. The only abnormal thing about you is the fact you wear a blindfold to cover your Six Eyes, and the fact that your hair is whiter than snow. There's also the fact that you're able to consume normal food without consequences. To anybody who doesn't personally know you, it'd be impossible to tell what you are.

"What are your plans now?" Tamayo questions, having just finished speaking to Tanjiro about offering to take Nezuko with them.

Humming in thought, you tilt your head side to side before shrugging. "No idea. Probably the same thing I always do."

"Travel until you find something interesting enough to stick around for a while?" She smiles in amusement, knowing you've never been one to linger around one place for too long. It was a surprise you even stayed more than a few days back when you first met as you had told her you prefer moving around a lot, not one to settle.

"You could come with us if you want, Gojo." Tanjiro sweetly offers as he had yet to leave despite his sister being nestled safely in the box on his back already.

"Huh? You really want me to come with you?" Your eyes are wide beneath your blindfold with genuine shock. You weren't expecting the boy to offer for you to travel with him and his sister. "Wouldn't it be difficult traveling with two demons as a demon slayer? I can only imagine that it wasn't easy getting anyone to agree to you traveling with Nezuko so certainly adding me to the mix would only make things more complicated for you."

Tanjiro gives you a soft smile as he lightly shakes his head. "I don't mind. I can tell that despite being a demon, you're still extremely human. I'm sure others would agree that you're not a threat."

You stare at him in silence for a few seconds, thinking about his offer. You've never traveled with a demon slayer before. Well, not in four hundred years at least. Things have changed a lot since then, though. Slayers have increased in numbers as have demons. The likelihood of anyone accepting you is pretty slim.

Luckily for you, you already have a very important connection within the slayer world.

"I'd love to travel with you, Tanjiro. Though, I'm not sure how it'd work since I doubt I'd fit in your sisters box." You mentally cringe at the idea of being forced to shrink down and shoved into a small enclosed space that has to be shared.

"I believe I may have a solution." Tamayo walks into a separate room within the basement for a split moment before returning with something cupped in her hands. Approaching you, she holds out her hands, revealing a beautiful necklace. "A friend of mine from long ago made this with her demon art. It's a small realm that is capable of being entered. I believe that if anyone is strong enough to be able to freely enter and exit the realm it'd be you."

You carefully take the necklace from her, honestly a bit nervous that you'd somehow break it. Examining it carefully, you find yourself in awe at how beautiful it looks. It's an odd shape, seeming like a teardrop with sharp edges. The inside has a purple night sky with a grassy field. The design is very intricate and you find yourself wanting to know if the inside is real or if it's simply an illusion.

Handing the chord to Tanjiro, you clasp the pendant in your hand, focusing your mind and energy on entering the tiny realm. In a flash of light you disappear from everyone's views, the necklace swinging lightly from your grasp disappearing. Tanjiro holds the necklace up, peering into it as he tries to see if he can see you. You look very small but he can just barely see your form standing in the field.

Putting the necklace on, he smiles brightly at Tamayo. "Thank you so much for your help!"

"Of course. I wish you safe travels." She bows politely before watching the boy leave.

She almost feels a bit sad watching him disappear up the stairs with you tucked into the small world dangling around his neck. She was extremely surprised when you showed up out of nowhere, and a tiny part of her thought you might stick around for a while. That you might choose to remain by her side rather than traveling with Tanjiro. It's selfish, yes, but she has truly missed you. After hundreds of years apart she only got to see you for a few short hours.

Unfortunately, Tamayo couldn't make the choice to stay by your side either. She must pack up and move once again to avoid Kibutsuji finding her and Yushiro. She has duties she must attend to and promises she must fulfill. She has a demon cure to work on after all. Hopefully Tanjiro manages to collect plenty of blood for her with you by his side.
