You awake in the morning to the sound of whispers. Peaking open one eye, you look towards the door to see three young girls poking their heads through a crack in the door as they whisper to one another. It's obvious that they're curious about you but too scared to actually come inside your room.

"You can come in, you know. I don't bite." Your voice startles them as they had failed to realize you had woken up. They all stumble into the room, apologizing for waking you. You wave off the apologies as you sit up, allowing the girls to get a better look at you.

"You're so pretty!" The girls look at you in awe, admiring your bright blue eyes.

"Ah, don't embarrass me like that." You chuckle, patting each of them on the head. "Is there something I can help you girls with?"

"We overheard the others talking about you!" One girl begins.

"So we got really curious!" The second continues.

"And we decided to come see you ourselves!" The third finishes.

You nod in understanding. "Well, how about we make a deal. You girls go fetch me some daifuku and any other food, and I'll let you all ask whatever questions you want out in the garden, okay?"

They eagerly agree before rushing out of your room, on a mission to get what you requested so they can ask you all the questions their little hearts desire. You laugh at their eagerness before getting up, deciding to get dressed since you promised to go out into the garden with them. The wardrobe isn't really filled with your type of clothing but you do find a kimono that looks decent enough. It's a simple black color with dark blue flowers decorating the bottom and the sleeves.

Satisfied with the outfit, you pull out your glasses that you had specially made for whenever you were dressed more casually- aka not wearing your uniform and haori. The glasses don't quite match the kimono but you don't really care. You've been wearing your blindfold everyday for weeks now and you've grown tired of it. Plus, the girls think your eyes are pretty so you don't want to cover them up fully and disappoint them.

Making your way out of your room, you head outside towards the garden. It's empty when you arrive, allowing you to comfortably choose a spot to sit and wait for the young girls. It's a beautiful day outside with the sun high in the sky, very few clouds drifting about, and a nice gentle breeze. Perhaps for the first time in a long time you feel truly at peace.

"Miss! We brought your food!" The young girls call out to you as they come rushing outside carrying a few different bentos. They happily set the bentos in front of you, allowing you to take your pick of which one you want to start with. Opening each one, you find them all filled with traditional Japanese foods, such as tempura and onigiri. One bento has your specifically requested daifuku which you set aside to eat last.

"Thank you, girls." You praise them, giving each of them head pats before digging into your food.

"Can we play with your hair?" The smallest of the girls questions, and when you nod she smiles brightly before excitedly moving behind you. You eat peacefully as they braid your hair, occasionally answering any questions they ask you. None of the questions are very serious, mostly just them being curious about who you are and whether or not you're friends with Kocho. It seems they're far more interested in playing with your hair.

"Oh my. What's going on out here?" You and the girls turn towards the estate where you spot Kocho standing on the engawa, staring curiously at all of you. The girls don't seem to notice, but you can see the obvious surprise in her eyes at the sight of you sitting out in the sun.

"Miss (Y/N) is letting us do her hair!" The girls urge Kocho to come take a look. The Hashira walks over behind you, bending over to examine the work of the young girls. They braided your hair, weaving colorful flowers from the garden between the strands.

"You've done a wonderful job, girls." She tells them sincerely. "Now, I'm sorry to cut into your fun but I must speak with (Y/N) inside, alright?"

The girls pout, upset that their time with you is being cut short. As you get up to leave, you grab your box of daifuku before promising the girls that you'll spend more time with them later. This seems to cheer them up a bit as they happily run off, leaving you and Kocho alone. You follow her into the estate where she leads you to what you assume is her office.

"I was hoping to ask for a favor." She begins as you sit down in a random chair while she remains standing, walking over to table covered in things. "Since it's been revealed that you're a demon who acts more human, I was hoping you would allow me to study some of your blood."

You don't give her a chance to explain further as you readily agree, pulling up the sleeve of your kimono and deactivating your infinity before turning your attention backs towards your daifuku. She stands there staring at you, momentarily stunned at your willingness to cooperate with little explanation. She was prepared to list multiple reasons as to why she wanted to study your blood yet you agreed without her explaining anything at all.

Almost as if she's worried you'll suddenly change your mind, she grabs a syringe and approaches you, gently taking your arm in her hand as she rotates it to reveal your veins. You don't flinch as she pushes the needle through your skin, simply focusing on eating. She fills multiple syringes before deciding she's taken enough, quietly thanking you as she puts them away safely.

You stand up to leave after that, waving off her thanks as it was no big deal to allow her to take some of your blood. You've given Tamayo your blood before, and she found nothing unusual about it. You're curious to see if Kocho will discover anything.
