Tanjiro is sent away with a Kakushi to the Butterfly Estate where his wounds will be taken care of. You, on the other hand, remain with Kagaya and the Hashira, planning to sit in on their meeting. It's been a while since you've seen Kagaya so you're looking forward to catching up with him. On top of that, you also want to speak to a few of the Hashira.

Throughout the meeting you remain silent, simply enjoying some daifuku brought to you by Kagaya's daughters. You don't bother listening to anything being discussed, and you ignore the occasional glances being thrown your way by the Hashira who are obviously confused and surprised that you're eating human food without problem. Kagaya will surely explain everything about you at the end of the meeting once they get past the important stuff.

"And that concludes our twice yearly Hashira meeting." Kagaya's voice pulls your attention away from your daifuku as you know he'll now be moving on to talking about you. "Now, I'm sure you all have questions about (Y/N). I'm sure she will gladly answer them, and if not then I will."

Surprisingly, the first person to raise their hand rather eagerly is a girl with dual colored hair and a revealing uniform. Once Kagaya gives her permission, she asks her question. "If (Y/N) is a demon, then how is she able to eat human food?"

Kagaya chuckles at the question as the answer is rather amusing. Knowing you're likely too focused on eating your favorite food, he decides to answer for you. "(Y/N) has always eaten human food. She loves it so much that she was able to keep eating it once becoming a demon. Never once has she felt the urge or need to consume a human. Because of this, she's easily able to pass as a human due to her eating and sleeping like one."

This time a man with flaming hair speaks up. "You said she is a family friend. How long has your family associated with her?"

"Many generations." Kagaya smiles fondly. "(Y/N) has been around the Ubuyashiki family for centuries. She was even present during my birth, and the birth of my children."

"How can your family trust a demon?" Shinazugawa glares at you with obvious distrust. "What if she's been spying on your family for Kibutsuji?"

"It's rather simple." Kagaya motions towards you. "(Y/N) here has yet to be discovered by Kibutsuji. She's been around for over four hundred years and yet Muzan still does not know of her existence. Due to her not resembling a demon in any way, it's rather easy for her to hide away from him and other demons. I'm sure a few of you can attest to her seeming more human than anything."

"She doesn't give off any sounds." A muscular guy with a jeweled headband speaks up. "Human or demon. I suppose it would make sense that demons wouldn't be able to tell what she is."

"If she's an ally to humans, why did she not help Kamado on the mountain?" The butterfly girl wonders, knowing for a fact you weren't there on the mountain while Tanjiro and his friends were fighting.

"If I step in every time Tanjiro and his friends encounter a demon, they'll never get stronger." This time it's you answering, having finished your daifuku. "However, if the situation seems dire then I will gladly step in to help. On the mountain I had full faith that Tanjiro and his friends would be fine."

The girl with dual colored hair tilts her head curiously. "Are you super strong?"

"I'm the strongest." You smile, making her slightly flustered.

"There's no way you're the strongest." Iguro glowers, looking at you with distaste.

"If I may say one thing." Kagaya cuts in, pulling everyone's attention towards him. "If you all were to fight (Y/N) head on together, she would certainly win."

"If she's so strong, why doesn't she kill Kibutsuji?" Shinazugawa demands.

Kagaya's soft smile disappears. "Even if Kibutsuji does not know of her existence, she is still connected to him through his blood. Should Muzan die, she would die alongside him. It may seem selfish, but there are numerous people that depend on her, and should she die, they would surely be devastated."

"That's a dumb reason." Shinazugawa mumbles under his breath, his arms crossing over his chest as he sits there angrily. Hundreds of people die to Kibutsuji and his demons each year, and you're supposedly strong enough to stop him, yet you won't because you'd die too? Pathetic.

"(Y/N) has trained many slayers throughout her life, and currently there are quite a few training underneath of her. While she may not be willing to kill Kibutsuji, she is still helping in our cause by training others to slay the demons beneath him." Kagaya stands up with the help of his daughters. "I believe we shall leave it here for today. I hope you all remain in good health."

Once Kagaya and his daughters take their leave you snap your head towards the group of Hashira, catching them off guard. "There's a few of you I need to speak with."

An obvious discomfort settles over the group, all of them weary about what you would want to speak with them about. The fact that you waited for Kagaya to leave only furthers that discomfort, and a few of them can't help but to wonder if you're going to kill them.

Standing up, you make your way over to the only Hashira whose name and face you know- Shinazugawa. The others watch with bated breath only to be shocked when you lightly hit the top of his head with the side of your hand. "I understand that as a slayer you must slay demons, but stabbing Nezuko when she was defenseless was going too far. You're lucky I don't give you the same treatment."

Turning back towards the others, you sigh. "Now, which one of you is Tomioka?"

Almost immediately everyone points towards a man with black hair and blue eyes wearing a split haori. You approach him, and despite his stoic look you can tell he's a bit nervous. Once you're standing directly in front of him, you grab his hands and hold them to your chest. "Thank you for believing in Tanjiro and Nezuko, and laying your life on the line for them. I shall repay you for your kindness one day."

Tomioka stands there awkwardly, unsure of what to do or say. Thankfully you release him once you've said what you wanted, turning back towards the others. Scanning through the crowd, you pinpoint who you next want to speak to. You don't know her name but you recognized her voice from when you were in the necklace.

Mitsuri flushes bright red as you do the same to her as you did to Tomioka, gently holding her hands between your own. "Thank you for being the only voice of reason while Tanjiro was on trial. While the others were willing to rush through straight to executing him without Kagaya there, you were the one willing to wait. I also thank you for agreeing to Kagaya's request of forgiving them for breaking the corps rules."

"Of course!" Kanroji stutters slightly, having not expected you to thank her for such a thing.

Moving on from her, you approach Kocho next. "Thank you for being kind enough to treat Tanjiro as a person rather than a demon. He didn't deserve to be treated so harshly by the others just for traveling with his sister."

With you giving your final thanks to Kocho, you turn your attention to the others who you had not spoken to. "You all treated Tanjiro with disrespect, and with little to no consideration for his life. For that, I won't forgive any of you. Not until you show that you've changed your thoughts on him and his sister. You've all disappointed me, not only as Hashira, but as people. Do better."

You leave after that, leaving all of them stunned.

🤞>TAISHO SECRETS<🤞

🌌 You waited until Kagaya left to speak to everyone because you knew the man would be too entertained by the drama

🌌 You would've hit Shinazugawa harder but figured being too harsh would only make him and the others dislike you more

🌌 Mitsuri gained a tiny little crush on you, especially since you claim to be the strongest- a trait she has been desperately searching for in a partner

🌌 A few of them couldn't help but to feel a bit disappointed that you openly admitted to not liking them right after praising the others

🌌 Tomioka would never admit it but he was extremely flustered at your close proximity while holding his hands to your chest

🌌 The real reason you haven't gone after Muzan is because he only ever appears in well populated areas and you don't want to risk innocent peoples lives in your fight against him
