"Good morning, everyone. It feels like a beautiful day. The sky is a perfect blue, isn't it? It makes me very happy that we can have our twice yearly Hashira meeting without any members having changed."

Your view is cut off as Shinazugawa roughly shoves Tanjiro's head into the ground, forcing him to bow. He seems like a completely different person when he speaks. "Master, I sincerely pray for your increased happiness. It is good to see you so healthy."

"Thank you, Sanemi." Ubuyashiki carefully sits down with the help of his daughters.

"I'm sorry, but... before the Hashira meeting, would you be so kind as to tell us about this corps member who travels with a demon, Tanjiro Kamado?" Shinazugawa questions.

"Yes, my apologies for surprising you. I have accepted Tanjiro and Nezuko. And I want everyone else to do the same." Unsurprisingly, there are varying opinions on the matter. Out of all the Hashira, only one voices acceptance, while another simply admits to not caring as they'd soon forget regardless. There's a few that remain silent while the rest voice their refusal.

Hoping to sway them, Ubuyashiki has his daughter read a letter he received from the former Water Hashira, Sakonji Urokodaki. The letter goes into detail of how Nezuko maintains her human reasoning, and that even when starving she refuses to eat anyone, persisting this way for over two years. The letter then finishes with Urokodaki stating the Tanjiro, along with himself and Tomioka, will make amends by slicing open their stomachs should Nezuko ever eat someone.

There's a long pause of silence as everyone thinks over the statements in the letter. The silence is then broken by Shinazugawa, said male quickly getting on your nerves which admittedly isn't easy to do. "So what if he'll commit seppuku?! If he wants to die, he can rot! It doesn't prove a thing!"

"Shinazugawa is right! If she kills and eats someone, it's irreversible! The dead won't come back!"

"That is correct. I cannot guarantee or confirm that she will not attack people." Ubuyashiki seemingly agrees, but continues on. "However, you cannot prove that she will attack people. It is a fact that Nezuko has not bitten anyone for over two years and three people have staked their lives on her. If you would reject this then you must offer something greater than Urokodaki's promise."

The others want to argue, but Ubuyashiki doesn't give them much of a chance as he continues. "Furthermore, Tanjiro has crossed paths with Kibutsuji." His statement immediately causes an uproar as everyone demands answers from the boy. Thankfully, they all stop the moment Ubuyashiki lifts a finger to his lips, silencing them. "Kibutsuji has sent his forces after Tanjiro. He may merely wish to silence him, but for the first time... Kibutsuji has shown his tail and we have grabbed it. I don't want to let go. And it's possible Kibutsuji may have seen something unexpected in Nezuko as well. Do you understand?"

"No, Master, I do not understand!" At this point you're not surprised that it's Shinazugawa still arguing. "Letting a human live is one thing, but not a demon. I cannot agree. There is nothing normal about it." He surprises everyone as he suddenly takes his own blade to his arm, cutting deeply into it to allow his blood to flow freely. "Master! Demons are ugly and untrustworthy! I'll prove it to you!"

Shinazugawa taunts Nezuko as he holds his bleeding arm over her box, allowing the crimson liquid to drip onto it. One of the others speaks up- the other guy you don't particularly like- telling Shinazugawa that it's useless to do it in the light. Shinazugawa mutters an apology before grabbing the box and jumping onto the engawa where it's shaded from the sun.

"Come out, demon! I've got the human blood you crave!" Shinazugawa forces the door of Nezuko's box open. There's a moment where nothing happens before Nezuko suddenly stands, glaring with intense hatred at Shinazugawa. He continues to taunt the girl, flashing his bloody arm in her face. As this is happening, Tanjiro finally breaks free from being pinned beneath Iguro thanks to Tomioka's help.

"Nezuko!" He yells as he runs up to the engawa, desperate to get his sisters attention. It seems to work as she huffs before turning her head away in disgust. Ubuyashiki questions his daughters on what happened and they explain the situation to him, leaving him pleased at the result. As he continues talking, Tanjiro suddenly flinches at the feeling of intense vibrations against his chest. Realizing what's happening, he calls out to his sister once more before ripping the necklace off and throwing it at her, her eagerly catching it.

There's a bright flash of light, momentarily blinding everyone. When they regain their senses, they all immediately go on guard at the sudden appearance of somebody new. You stand between Shinazugawa and Nezuko, facing the girl as you pat her head, praising her on doing so well. She hums happily, practically radiating with joy. Turning away from her, you face Shinazugawa, and despite wearing a blindfold he can't help but to feel as if you're glaring at him, the feeling sending a shiver down his spine.

You move past him, and everyone instantly begins reaching for their weapons as you start to rush towards their master. However, what happens next makes all of them freeze in shock. His daughters had informed him of your sudden appearance, allowing him to stand there with his arms open. You instantly fling yourself at him, your arms wrapped around his neck as you hug him tightly, a loud smooch being smacked against his cheek.

"Kagaya! I've missed you so much!" You rub your cheek affectionately against his, making him chuckle.

"What the hell?!" Shinazugawa yells, beyond pissed at the sight before him. "Who the hell are you?! Get off of our master!"

"There's no need for that, Sanemi." Kagaya holds up a hand to keep the others from saying or doing anything. "(Y/N) here is a family friend. I've known her my entire life." He turns his attention back towards you. "I was wondering when you'd make your appearance. When I received your letter informing me that you'd be traveling with Demon Slayers, I was a bit shocked until you mentioned that one of them had a demon traveling with him. It was fairly easy to deduce who you were traveling with after that."

You pull away from the hug, moving to quickly press kisses to the top of his daughter's heads before straightening up. "You know me, always looking for an adventure. And what's more adventurous than a boy traveling with demons?"

"Demons?" A girl in a butterfly haori with a matching pin in her hair questions.

"Ah, (Y/N) here is also a demon." Kagaya explains nonchalantly, as if it's the simplest thing in the world.

There's a beat of silence before everyone yells in shock and confusion. You simply stick out your tongue and hold up a peace sign, uncaring that your identity has been revealed to even more people.
