It's been a few days since you and the others had arrived at the Butterfly Estate. Tanjiro and the others are slowly healing, and from the sounds of it they'll soon begin their rehabilitation training. You know Tanjiro and Inosuke will start before Zenitsu since he's taking longer to heal due to his shortened limbs and his resistance against taking his medication. You, on the other hand, have been spending a lot of time with the young butterfly girls, and you've visited Nezuko a few times despite her mostly sleeping.
Today, however, there's a bit of a surprise in store for you.
The three young butterfly girls were extremely eager to wake you up this morning, urging you to hurry up and get dressed in your uniform. Once you were dressed and ready they rushed you to the front door, dragging you outside. What you were met with was your students standing out front, looking around at the large estate while Nanami warned them not to wander off. You had sent them a letter telling them everything that was going on, but you weren't expecting them to show up.
"Gojo-Sensei!" Itadori yells, already sprinting towards you. You open your arms, laughing happily as he throws himself into your arms, hugging you tightly. It's been quite a few months since you've seen him last, and you know he's missed you dearly much like you've missed him.
Nobara and Megumi are more reluctant, neither of them bothering to hug you on their own. You have to force them into the hug, squeezing them close as you coo cutely at them, teasing them for being too embarrassed to show their teacher affection. You turn towards Nanami to do the same only to stop once he sends you a glare, warning that if you came too close he would hurt you.
"What are you guys doing here?" You question, genuinely surprised at their sudden visit.
"We were nearby, so they asked to come see you." Nanami explains, fixing the glasses on his face. "They've been asking to see you for months. It's become a real annoyance."
"Nanamin!" Itadori flushes red as he yells at his other teacher. "You weren't supposed to say anything."
"I can say whatever I please." Nanami turns his attention towards you. "I figured that since you were in the area, you could train with them for a few days. They've begun to lag behind on their training."
"Is that so?" You hum curiously, looking over your students. Itadori seems bashful and slightly ashamed, while Nobara and Megumi are trying their best to seem indifferent and like they don't care. "I know just what to do."
You tell them all to head over to the estates training grounds to wait for you as you head back inside. Whistling to yourself, you make your way through the many halls of the estate in search of one specific room. Sliding the door open, you're met with the sight of the boys all relaxing, enjoying what they believe to be their last few days of rest before rehabilitation training.
Tanjiro perks up upon noticing you in the doorway. "Oh, hey (Y/N)! What brings you here?"
"I came to get you and Inosuke." You nod towards the boar headed boy who still seems a bit depressed from getting his ass beat on the mountain.
"What for?" Tanjiro tilts his head curiously, wondering what you could possibly want them for all of a sudden.
"You'll see." You smile, and Tanjiro can't help but to feel as if you're plotting something.
"Hey! Why am I being excluded?!" Zenitsu cries, upset that you didn't say you were there for him. He's getting real tired of being left out of stuff.
You motion towards his still shrunken body. "You're not healed enough for what I have planned, but you're welcome to come with to watch. Get dressed and meet me at the training grounds."
You exit the room after that, on your way to search for one more person. Unsurprisingly, you find Kocho in her office. Knocking on the door, you slide it open before she gets the chance to give you permission. "What can I help you with?" She questions, a hint of annoyance in her tone.
"I need to borrow your tsuguko."
The statement catches her off guard. "What for?"
"Training." You shrug. "So, can I?"
Kocho almost wants to say no, but she knows training with other people would be good for Kanao. So, she reluctantly agrees, coming with you to find her tsuguko so she can inform the girl that she'll be training with you, knowing she would let her coin answer otherwise. When you two do find her, she shows no change in emotion at the announcement of her joining you for training, simply following after you as you lead the way to the training grounds.
You arrive at the same time as Tanjiro and the others, obviously confused at the sight of the strangers standing there waiting. You approach with Kanao following after you, and you raise your hand as you call their attention over to you. "Sorry to keep you waiting."
"What's going on, Gojo-Sensei?" Itadori questions, curious as to who the other people with you are.
"Right." You motion towards the group of slayers you've only known for a short while. "This is Kamado Tanjiro, Agatsuma Zenitsu, Hashibira Inosuke, and Tsuyuri Kanao. I've been traveling with the boys for a while now, and Kanao is the insect Hashira's tsuguko."
After that, you motion towards the others. "These are my tsugukos, in a way. Itadori Yuuji, Kugisaki Nobara, and Fushiguro Megumi. The grumpy looking guy is my best friend Nanami!"
"You're going to train together!"
