Ever since your first visit with Kyojuro where you became friends you've visited him daily, often spending either lunch or dinner together since you both enjoy food. You've admittedly grown quite closer with each other during this time. He's told you all about how his mother died, leaving behind him and his brother with their father who became an alcoholic. Hearing Kyojuro tell you about how he basically had to raise his brother made you realize that his father didn't retire to care for them.
On the other hand you told Kyojuro all about your abilities. He listened very attentively as you described everything you could do, even showing him the infinity between the both of you and how you can shut it off to allow contact between you and the other person. This made him realize that you had turned it off willingly when you first visited since he had held your hands as he thanked you. It made him happy to know that you trusted him enough to allow him to do so despite your rough start with each other at the trial.
After having dinner with Kyojuro once again you leave his room to go outside for a walk. You've been cooped up inside for days now as whenever you're not spending time with Kyojuro you're spending time with the others. It's difficult to find time for yourself when everyone wants to do stuff with you. You've been spread pretty thin between everyone and just want a little time to yourself to unwind.
Exiting the Butterfly Estate you immediately head down the road in a random direction, not having a particular destination in mind. It's a beautiful day out, the sky a perfect light blue with a few clouds littered about. You whistle a small tune as you walk, enjoying the peace of being alone. It's been quite a while since you last went on a walk like this. It's nice.
You're not alone for long, however, as you find yourself soon approaching a familiar figure. The man stares up at the sky, his eyes watching the passing clouds. Curious, you approach him. "What are you doing?"
"That cloud looks like a rabbit." You glance to the sky to see which cloud he's speaking of and find that it does indeed look like a rabbit in the middle of hopping.
"Is that all you're doing?" You question as you return to looking at him.
His gaze slowly slides over to you as he stops staring up at the clouds, instead now looking at your strangely colored eyes that are partially hidden by your glasses. "I don't remember."
"Ah, I forgot about that." You mumble as you remember that there was someone who mentioned not remembering things at Tanjiro's trial. It appears he suffers from memory loss to some extent. "Would you like to look at clouds together, Muichiro?" You skip straight to calling him by his first name as you doubt he'd really care.
Muichiro doesn't say anything as you take his hand and pull him towards an empty field. Without care you lay down on the grass and pull him down to lay next to you. You've never really gone cloud gazing before so you're actually looking forward to doing it for the first time with someone. It kind of sounds fun to point out different clouds and explain what you see in their shapes.
"That one looks like a flower." You point up at the cloud, allowing Muichiro to follow your arm with his eyes until he too spots the flower shaped cloud. Quietly agreeing, he pulls his attention away to look at the other clouds.
"That one looks like a bird." You hum as you look at the one he's pointing at. It certainly does look somewhat like a bird with it's wings spread out behind it.
"I never knew clouds could look like so many things." You comment, genuinely surprised. You always just thought clouds were shapeless puffs of white in the sky but actually taking the time to look at them makes it to where you can picture different things that share the outline of the clouds.
Muichiro nods at your comment, silently agreeing. He never really used to gaze at the clouds either but it's become habit. He always finds himself easily distracted by things. He'd waste hours of his day simply staring up at the sky picturing the clouds to be random things.
"What's your name?" He questions suddenly, breaking the peaceful silence that had fallen over the two of you.
"Gojo (Y/N), but just (Y/N) is fine." Muichiro repeats the name to himself as if it will help him remember it. Turning his head to look at you as you lay next to each other, he stares at you as he repeats your name over and over in his head. He's determined to remember the pretty girl that took time out of her day just to look at clouds with him.
