8 Inter-reality

On a summer's day, I stumbled upon a strange land.
With no memory of how I arrived here,
I walked along the dessert planes.
Looking up,
I see things beyond my imagination.
There, in the bright daylight,
Seven crystal moons shone in the sky.
Stars, the shape we always draw them to be,
Twinkled Green and Red in a sky alien to me.
Crimson sands and orange grass.
Houses made of pure glass.

I walked on to see,
The People communicating through music and emotion.
A heart's greatest elation.
On fields,
The Flowers were blossoming,
In Blue and pink and yellow.

Night drew in,
As I got closer to the centre.
Trekking through jewlled, Spiral mountains under an inky sky.
A kingdom of unity and transparency.
Diversity,
A Rich heritage and culture.

Where am I? I ask myself.
Is this a dream?

I wandered on further.
Observing their smiles with wonder.
Seeing the Peace with no hunger.
Thinking how Parallel and yet perpendicular,
This world is to ours.

I walk on as I ponder.
Discovering the harmony,
Recovering from the shock.
As I look at the possibilities the human race has lost.
Centuries ago.
What could be.
What is.
What there is out there.

And then,
I awake with an ice cold splash of water thrown at me,
I'm back here.

And I realise...
With a heavy heart...
It was all a dream.

For humans could never possibly live in harmony like that, could they?

For humans could never possibly live in harmony like that, could they?
