12 Spring beckons

Spring beckons us today.
Whispering sweet words our way.

September brings a warm embrace,
A loving one you cannot misplace.
Sunny days and green grass,
Almost too good to have class.

October's here with rains and cake,
Fireworks and lots to bake.
Colours and patterns,
Lamps and lanterns,
Hanging as we celebrate.
The festival, every year we commemorate.

December takes things up a level,
Boiling us in the heat, that devil.

But, for me, Spring takes the prize.
As the new year comes to rise.

Happy Spring!
