Through pandemic and chaos, A friendship did blossom. Across mountains and oceans, Transcending languages, A modern day pen pal.
In times of terror and tears, You provide comfort warmer than the fire before me. In times of celebration, geography mocks us.
And yet, even so, Our friendship does grow. Despite life and the grinding of the mill, There is always time for a golden 'catch up', For every 'event you've missed'.
The songs we've shared, The wisdom parted, Laughter brimming, And those late night discussions.
I cherish them all.
And though we may never get to hug, You have indeed left an imprint on my soul. Through media and technology, We can show the world how friendship should be...
Selfless, Borderless, Without excuse. And above all, meaningful.
