14 The End is Just Another Beginning

Death is evil they say,
However, I beg to differ.
You know how the day,
And the night alter?
Death is just the end,
Of something old.
Bringing in a new trend,
To life, one in which to hold,
All your hopes and dreams,
That flow out like streams.

For what comes to an end will begin,
And what begins must then end in ruin.
This cycle will forever go on,
Until the universe is finally gone.

A/n: Contrary to common belief, death isn't just the end of a life.
Death isn't an antagonist in the book of your life.
He is the remover of old and leaves a space for the new.

I find writing poetry about death is calming and I've always liked poems about it having studied a few poems about death while still at school.
