"Open mine first! Open mine first, Miss Pear! I got it all by myself and everything!" Alex yelled as they all sat in the living room, ready for Emma to open her Christmas presents. After they all had their enjoyable Christmas breakfast, filled with Christmas memories and stories, Alex decided it was time for Emma to open her presents. She was currently sitting on the ground beside the Christmas tree, presents laid out around her.

Alex sat beside her, with Blake on the other side. Their parents sat on one couch while Philo sat on the other. She was full of excitement and nerves to see what type of gift she was about to get. Grinning, she took the green wrapped present from his hands. "Thank you, Alex."

Alex grinned, watching her pull the paper away. She couldn't help but laugh as she pulled away the last strip of paper. "Wow..." was the first word to leave her lips. This was definitely a unique gift, but she expected nothing less.

"Alex, what... in the world, why would you get her that?" his mother said, shaking her head at her son's goofy behavior.

While her husband softly laughed beside her along with Philo. "I think it's a great gift," Philo said, smiling, nodding his head. Blake gave him a look as if he was crazy.

Alex looked at his mother, eyebrow raised. "Well, everyone likes gummy worms, Mom," he replied as if it was so obvious.

Emma laughed while picking up the big blue bag of Trolli gummy worms. "That's the best flavor, too. I got her something she would actually enjoy. Who wouldn't like that?" Alex said, continuing to try to prove why gummy worms were the best present. He crossed his small arms, looking up at Emma for reassurance.

"That's true, Alex... umm, thank you, Alex. I love gummy worms. I love them so much I may never eat them and save them forever," she joked, holding the bag tightly to her chest.

It made everyone laugh but Alex, whose eyes widened, taking her seriously. "No, Miss Pear, eat them all, please!" He smiled, full of pride, while she ruffled the hair on his head.

Blake shook his head at his brother. "Open our present next, honey," Mr. Black said. She set the gummies to the side, picking up the Santa-wrapped present. She opened it, biting her lip. It was a pair of black and white Converse.
"Thank you, Mr. and Ms. Black. I love them." She pulled out the shoes, looking at them more closely. They were so cute. She really didn't expect new shoes from them "We don't know your size, but we guessed 8," Ms. Black said, watching her reaction.

She was happy to find out they guessed her size right. She couldn't wait to wear them. The next present she picked up was Kandy's. Her eyes widened as she pulled out the light blue Apple laptop.
"Oh my god," she whispered. Philo laughed softly at her comment.
Emma kind of felt bad for only getting her a jean mini skirt. She didn't expect Kandy to get her something so expensive. "She didn't have to get me something so expensive." She rubbed the Apple logo on the back, unable to hide the smile.

Blake crossed his arms, looking over her laptop as she slid it back into the box. "She got you an Apple laptop? All she got me was a band T... doesn't seem very fair to me," he pouted. She grinned, elbowing him slightly. He rubbed his arm, smiling.
Moving onto the next gift, she picked up a bright pink wrapped gift that stood out amongst the others. "Must be Chris's gift," Mr. Black said while shaking his head.

"Of course, he wouldn't follow the Christmas color theme," Philo said, sipping his eggnog. Emma nodded while pulling off the paper. "A giant Peep? Where the hell did he even buy that?" Emma said, eyes widening as she picked up the heavy pink Peep.

Alex grinned widely. "It's beautiful..." he said in amazement. Philo laughed. "He's a weird kid... at least he means well." She looked up at him, slightly confused at how he knew Chris. He noticed the confusion on her face. "He used to work at my shop. I'm pretty sure that's where he and Blake met." She turned her head, looked over at Blake, who nodded his head.

She wondered what made Chris leave working at Philo's to open his own underground street racing club. She bet anything his love for cars had something to do with working in Philo's shop many years ago "Thank you, everyone! I loved all my gifts. This is the best first Christmas ever," she looked around at them, smiling widely.

Blake stood up, sliding his hands into his pockets, looking down at her. "My gift for you is in my room. We might as well exchange our presents up there." His mother laughed behind her hand at her son's adorably shy behavior.
Emma picked up her presents for him. "Thank you all again," she said before following behind him as he made his way upstairs. Here was the big moment for them to exchange presents, and she hoped she had chosen the best presents just for him.
