His footsteps echoed as he made his way toward them, chewing gum, a white button-up shirt with sleeves rolled up (a clear violation of the dress code), and black ripped jeans. His hands were deep in his pockets. He pulled one hand out, grabbing a stack of napkins from a nearby table. Reina stood with her arms crossed, the empty bottle still clutched in her hand, as Blake stopped directly in front of Emma.

Her wet bangs dripped Gatorade over her eyes, and her hands were still clamped over her ears, stunned by his presence. He gently took her hands from over her ears, whispering a quiet, "Hey," with a small smile. She whispered back a weak, "Hello." He nodded, handing her the napkins. She immediately took them, wiping her wet hair and face.

Then he turned to face Reina. "You really are a bitch, you know that? You're that bitter just because I won't let you suck my dick? I knew you were stupid, but I didn't know you thought I'd actually like someone as bitchy, shallow, and self-absorbed as you." He said it casually, his expression blank, then blew a bubble that popped in her face.

Reina gasped like a pufferfish, staring up at him. She let out a huff, throwing the bottle to the ground before turning to walk away "Oh, and Reina~" she turned her head. Blake spat his gum out, hitting her directly in her long hair. Reina shrieked "Adiós," he said, a smirk playing on his lips. She glared at him with disgust and frustration as Heather and Raven tried to soothe her, stomping away.

Emma stared at him in shock. He would definitely get in trouble for something like that. He turned back to her. "Let's get out of here, Emma."
She shook her head, flicking her still slightly wet hair. "It's a school day, Blake. We can't just leave," she whispered as he walked backward toward the cafeteria doors.

He grinned, shrugging, not seeming to care about the thousands of eyes still on him. "You really want to stay here?" he asked before turning and walking out.
Emma looked around; everyone was staring at her. She definitely didn't want to stay. But what if her parents found out? What if... what if... she thought, looking at the cafeteria doors. Making up her mind, she tossed the napkins into a nearby trash can and ran out the door.

Whispers filled the cafeteria as she left.
Outside the cafeteria, her eyes searched for Blake. "I was wondering how long it would take you," he said, leaning against the wall beside the cafeteria door, a grin on his lips. She crossed her arms, looking unimpressed. "What makes you think I'm going anywhere with you? You've been ignoring me all day."
He pushed off the wall, walking closer. "I wasn't ignoring you. I just didn't want to draw more attention to you. I mean, you have a boyfriend; it would probably be weird for you." He spoke softly, scratching the back of his head and looking to the side.

She looked at him, confused for a moment. "I don't have a boyfriend, and I wasn't even on a date the other night. If you hadn't run off, I would have told you that." She rolled her eyes, making her way down the corridor toward her locker.

He followed behind her. She stopped in front of her locker, working on opening it. "Well, I sent you a text asking if he was your boyfriend. You never replied, so I assumed he was." She turned her head, a brow raised, as she opened the locker. "My mom took my phone away after I came home late from the dance."
He made an embarrassed face; he really had jumped to conclusions. She took his jacket out of the locker.

"Oh," he whispered, looking down as she reached out, trying to hand it to him. He glanced at her outfit, still soaked with Gatorade. "You can keep it a while longer," he said, pointing at her shirt.
She looked down at it, sighing. "Thanks, I guess... But I'm still upset at you for ignoring me like that." She closed the locker and slid on the jacket, putting her hands in the pockets. The hallways were empty, probably because most kids were in class by now. They were able to just walk out the front door without being noticed.

"But I did end up standing up for you, didn't I? Don't I at least get some points for that?" he asked, following after her.
She looked back at him. "Nope." She walked down the sidewalk, away from him. He stopped walking as she continued on. "Where are you even going?" She stopped for a moment, suddenly remembering it was a school day. "To hopefully sneak back into my house without any of the neighbors noticing." She really had no clue what she was going to do if her mother saw her right now; she would flip. Rolling her eyes, she continued walking.

He ran to catch up to her. "Or you could come to my house?" They stopped walking; she fully faced him now, a brow raised. He gave a soft grin. "My parents aren't home right now," he added softly.

She thought it over for a moment. If her parents found out she was ditching school, she would be completely dead. On the other hand, she was still pissed at him. "Fine. Let's go."

(Mia note-To Blake's house we go!!)
