Chap. 107

Moments prior....

Niki pushed the drunk guy off her neck she was over this guy he has been beside her for the last few minutes trying to get her attention rubbing on her thigh and kissing on her neck but it just wasn't doing it for her. After she pushed him she stands leaving him confused looking up at her "Where you going baby" it was time for her to find friends and leave this lame party. She hasn't seen any of them since this loser dragged her away when the party began she knew he wouldn't just let her leave though. So it was time for her to turn on the charm she flips her blonde hair over her shoulder looking at him with a smile "I'm going to grab a drink baby I'll be right back then we can pick any room you want to...have some fun" she runs her nails slowly down his cheek making him smile. She gives him a small smile turning and walking away heels clicking on the ground as she goes. She had no intention of going back to the guy she didn't even care to remember his name. She needed to find her friends this party was getting out of hand and it's getting late she soon spots Claire's dress remembering she was wearing the bright blue color "Claire!..Claire over here!" she yelled racing towards her. Claire turned around looking smile they race to each other looking in the middle "Hey I was just looking for you I think we should find the others and split. This party is really getting out of hand I saw some people shooting up heroine" Niki's eyes widen surprised to hear that college students where doing heroine. Niki grabs Claire's hand speed walking through the house pushing people out the way "Whitney!...Emma where are you guys!?" Claire yells eyes scanning left and right. Claire points ahead spotting Whitney ahead of them without Emma beside her "Whit!? Over here!" Niki said letting go of Claire's hand racing over to her "Where's Emma?" Claire asked as Whitney begin running over to them. Niki was just passing the backyard glass down when she saw movement outside turning her head she saw a body laying on the grass and person dressed in all black baggy clothes standing over them stepped on something. It took her a minute to realize it was Emma she freezes a moment turning completely toward the down. Claire runs into her back at her sudden stop "Niki what are you doing? Why did you stop walking so suddenly like that?" Claire asked watching Niki looking through the glass. Niki finally snaps out of it as her watched the person grab Emma legs dragged her over toward the pool. She grabs the door handle trying to open it but it's locked tight Claire looks out the door seeing Emma her eyes widen before covering her mouth "Oh my god Emma" tears fill her eyes. Whitney finally joins them at the door looking through also seeing Emma in horror the who's blank eyes meet Niki's. Whitney slams her hands against the door "Let go of her you bastard!" she yells making Niki try to turn to door even harder "Fucking let her go stop it! Let her go!" Niki yells glaring at the masked figure who simply laughed at them. Despite all the noise they were making it didn't draw attention to the partygoers around them a scream breaks through Claire's lips as Emma's limp body is dumped into the pool sinking instantly. The masked figure holds up a little remote pressing the button the pool cover slowly starts to cover the pool trapping Emma underneath. They throw the remote against the ground it shatters into little bits "Oh my god! Oh my god what do we do!!?" Claire yells panicking while Whitney slams her hands against the glass the masked figure watches them finding it all this amusing. Niki looks around picking up a near by lamp "Fuck it, stand back Whit" Whitney quickly steps back and Niki throws the heavy lamp hard against the glass making it shatter finally drawing attention from the people around them. The masked person runs through the back yard gate "No you fucking don't! Claire call the police!" Niki yells while running through the broken glass door kicking off her heels racing out the back gate behind the mask culprit. Claire quickly pulls out her phone calling 911 people around them began to whisper "Did they just say police?" someone yells knowing people where in the house using drugs openly people begin racing out the building tripping all over themselves to get out. Whitney runs through the glass over to the pool falling to her knees beside it trying to push back the pool cover "Come on! come fucking on!" she yells voice shaking the covering would not budge. Claire runs through the glass talking to the police telling them the address Whitney stand pushing her shaking hands through her hair looking around. She runs back to the broken door bending down she picks up one of the bigger pieces of broken glass runs back over to the edges of the pool. Holding the glass tightly she stabs it into the fabric of the cover ripping a big hole. Claire watched in amazement as Whitney kicks off her heels jumping through the hole into the pool. She watches the pool eyes unmoving "Please hurry" Claire whispered into the phone as Niki runs back through the gate hair wild around her face a big bruise on her pale cheek. She came back empty handed without the culprit Claire ends the call with the police. Claire looks at Niki wanting to ask the question on her mind did she find out who the person was Niki meets her eyes shaking her head slowly before looking down. Both their eyes snap to the pool as Whitney climbs out the pool struggling to hold up Emma heavily lifeless body. They rush closer helped them both out the pool "Oh my god! please wake up Emma" Claire whispered getting on her knees beside Emma body being to preform CPR both her parents where doctors so she had basic knowledge of CPR. Whitney pushed her wet hair out her eyes getting beside Emma on her knees looking at Niki's bruised face Niki noticed "You should see the other guy..." she whispered unamused watch Claire breathe air into Emma's lungs. Tear roll down Claire's cheeks "We should have never came here this is all my fault please wake up Emma please" she pressed repeatedly on her chest hearing the fant sound of sirens in the distance Emma eyes weakly open vision still blurry while looking around before coughing hard. Claire climbs off her in a hurry as Emma rolls to her side cough up water Whitney let's out a breath of relief hugging Claire Niki holds Emma weak body to her chest. Whitney pulls away from Claire looking at Niki "Did you at least get your hands on that son of a bitch?" Emma lets out slow breathe body still tired shaking from the cool air hitting her wet skin Niki holds her closer "I got in one punch making them fall I guess they hurt their ankle or whatever and I would have done more if a car didn't come to save their ass and punched me in the face...whoever did this to Emma is working with someone else" Emma's body begins to shake knowing there was more then one person after her. The police an paramedics rush through the backyard gate towards them Emma begins to hyperventilate breathing in shallow quick breaths "She's going into shock get her on a stretcher with oxygen!" Emma hears a voice yells before her vision goes completely dark.
