"Okay, class, it's been a great year! I hope you all have a great summer," Emma's teacher announced as her classmates excitedly raced out the door to the cafeteria for lunch.

The year had flown by in the blink of an eye. Next year, she'd be picking which college she'd go to, along with preparing for graduation and prom. She was nervous but also excited. But she wasn't thinking too far into the future; at the moment, she was walking down the hallway in the opposite direction of the cafeteria to meet Blake. This would be the first time they were actually sitting down and just talking in a while.

She made sure to wear her cutest uniform today, looking down at her dark blue pleated skirt. She never really wore it because it was a little shorter than it was supposed to be; it fell to about mid-thigh.

But no one seemed to mind because it was the last day. Along with that, she wore her light blue shirt with the school mascot on the front, and she also decided to wear her hair in two low pigtails today. She smiled, thinking how happy she was with her appearance before she left the house this morning. Before she met Blake, she had stopped by her locker to get her books out first. She stopped in front of her locker, opening it. She filled her bag with the books, leaving the locker clean. She didn't want to have to stop by at the end of the day to clean it out.

"Happy end of the year... loser," Reina said, leaning against the locker beside her. Emma ignored her; she wouldn't let Reina ruin her day today "Haven't seen Blake around you in a while. Did he finally lose interest in you? I mean, honestly, who wouldn't?" Reina picked at her nails as Raven laughed beside her.

"Yeah, Emma, everyone knows he only wants one thing from you," the pair laughed, high-fiving each other.
Emma slammed her locker closed, about to turn and walk away, but she just couldn't pass up this opportunity to rub it in Reina's face that she was meeting Blake. She grinned mischievously. "As much as I would love to bicker with you, Reina, Blake's actually waiting for me right now, so I can't stick around, but I hope you have a great summer, girls~" She turned away, strutting down the hallway. Raven looked at her in disbelief. Reina's eyes burned into the back of her head as she let out an annoyed sigh.

"You're a dirty liar, perra." Raven nodded, crossing her arms.
Emma turned her head, looking at her with a grin. "You wish." She walked right out the door, feeling satisfied as she walked towards the gym.

When she got there, she stood in the doorway for a moment to hype herself up about being around Blake... alone in a dimly lit area. Why was she low-key nervous? She made her way over to the bleachers, peeking behind them. Blake was sitting on the ground, back leaned against the white brick wall behind him, legs stretched out in front of him. He was wearing dark blue jeans and Converse. He wasn't wearing a uniform top, just a normal sleeveless black t-shirt. His bookbag sat beside him. It should have been illegal for him to look so good just sitting there.

"Hey, Lake," she said, walking under the bleachers towards him. He looked up as she came to stand beside him, eyes scanning over her skirt and legs for a minute. She smiled, apparently her dressing up did catch his attention, even if he wouldn't admit it. His eyes finally met hers.

"Hey, have a seat," he said, gesturing to the space beside him. She really didn't think this outfit through; sitting down in a skirt wasn't the best idea. "I mean, if you're able to with that skirt," he let out a little laugh.

She looked at him smugly before slowly sitting down on her knees. Her hand slipped on the floor, making her bump into his shoulder. He put a hand on her arm to keep her steady. "Sorry," she whispered, feeling slightly embarrassed. His rings were cool against the skin on her arm. She was able to adjust her body, sitting on the side of her hip with her legs to the side.
