It Started With Hello

Chap. 30

"How have you been Blake?" Emma says at the same time Blake say "Does your parents still have sticks up their ass's about me?" he tilts his head in annoyance closing his eyes tightly. Emma lets out a little laugh while shaking her head at his choice of words "Language Alex is right there Blake" she points over at Alex tossing the frisbee in the air catching it repeatedly "...and yes they do" she lets out a sigh. Blake grins before casually sitting beside her draping his arm on the back "I'm currently on a date that they set up. They took away my phone permanently after everything that happened so I can't call them to get me out of this mess they have totally lost it" he raised a brow at her about to respond as the both hear a deep cough behind them. They both turn seeing Jason standing there with a vanilla ice cream cone he smiles brightly instantly putting on the 'sweet boy nextdoor' mask that everybody knows it makes her cringe inside. She instantly stands up facing him "Baby...I got you your ice cream and I see the boy from our play was able to find you again, should I get rid of him for you?" Emma felt like he had a double meaning to his words she choose to stay silent. Blake lets out a snort crossing his arms as he  stands turning facing him. He size's him up before looking down at Alex smiling "Alex go play over there the adults need to talk" Alex looks at Emma a moment she nods her head and he runs off to play with some other kids. The smile on Blake's lips vanish suddenly as he glares down at Jason "How's your eye feeling it seemed to have healed up well from my rings pounding into it... damn I was hoping it would scar" he looks down playing with the rings around his fingers before sliding his hands inside his pockets. Jason keeps the smile forced on his lips but Emma noticed the slightly twitch of his eye "You had no right to hit me I can kiss my girlfriend how ever I want. Your lucky I didn't press charges against you" he raised his voice slightly his facade flickering right in front of their eyes. Blake narrowed his eyes what Jason didn't notice was while he was talking Blake slowly slide his phone out his pocket pressing it into her open palm before clasping his hand around herself tighten in reassurance before pulling completely away. While he glared at Jason his whispers "You think I give a damn? Do whatever you want to me but you hurt her...and I swear I'll fucking end you" his voice was strong and leveled he gives her one last look that said everything it needed to before walking over to Alex. It took everything in her not to watch him leave her hand tighten around the phone she had to keep it from Jason's sight as he makes his way around the bench "Come on Emma your ice cream is melting" she swallowed shifting from side to side. She forced a smile onto her lips "Let me just run to the bathroom a minute I haven't went since our date started" he contemplates it for a moment as if it was something he could really stop her from doing "No funny business go and come right back" she nods as she turns towards the bathroom making sure to keep her hands in front of her to hind the phone. As she makes it inside she quickly locks the door letting out a sigh of relief looking at the dark blue Iphone with a smile it always seems like Blake is around to be her knight and shinning armor. She paced back and forth thinking of her next move it's not like she could use it at the moment though. if she called her parents they either would get mad that she got a new phone and somehow figure out how to take it away again at some point or just not believe her about the Jason situation. She couldn't call the cops because she didn't have any proof and it would be the golden boys word against hers. Sighing heavily she jumping almost dropping the phone as she hears beating on the door "Come on Emma it's getting dark we have to do our walk and you have to eat your ice cream!" Jason yells through the other side of the door sounding somewhat frantic she quickly slides the phone into her bra at the moment she was thanking god for having bigger boobs. She steadys her breathing before opening the door "All done lets go" she takes the ice cream from his hand. He grins taking her other hand linking their fingers she almost pulls away but somehow managed to hold herself back. They make their way around the park hand in hand she looks around ever so often for Blake or even Alex but they have gone. She knows her parents seem to want them to stay apart so badly but she was so happy that some how they couldn't seem to stay away from each other so glad he turned up here to save her once again. A small smile makes its way to her lips as she looks down her hair covering her face.
