🤎 The plant is also known by its synonyms Chrysanthemum parthenium and Pyrethrum parthenium, and is referred to as bachelor's buttons, featherfew, featherfoil, flirtwort and midsummer daisy.

🤎 In late Anglo-Saxon lore, feverfew was a remedy for the "flying venom" that came from an arrow shit by an elf, a hag or a god.

🤎 Feverfew can attract harmful snails, slugs and black flies. Some gardeners place terracotta pots on their sides as homes for toads, who will feast on these pests.

🤎 An infusion of the flowers, made with boiling water and allowed to cool, was once used to calm the nerves and treat earaches.
