3rd pov 

'No... it was Zorc Necrophades... the greatest known evil.'

After hearing the dragon's words the reactions were instant. The gang and Kaiba stood up in disbelief, Yuka was just as shocked. She looked towards Yami to see how he was taking the news. The lancers just looked confused as to why these new people were reacting so strongly.

'No! That can't be possible!? He should be in the void!' Yami yelled as his breathing became frantic. Just the very thought of Zorc being alive shook Yami more than he'd liked to admit. Zorc was the reason for most of his problems and if he was back... Yami didn't want to think about that, it just made him panic. He was so certain that they had successfully dealt with him, so how was he back?

As his thoughts spiralled, Yami found his eyes wandering towards Yuka. As he looked at Yuka, Yami knew that he had to protect her no matter the cost, even if he had to sacrifice himself again, he would do so willingly if it meant he could keep her safe. He would never allow her to be in danger.

'Golden dragon ya got ta be kindin' me?!' Joey thought they were done with ancient Egyptian murderous things. It wasn't good for his health.

'No... that isn't possible... This can't be happening...' Kaiba was confused. He had thought they had already destroyed that monster. Kaiba had always prided himself on his knowledge yet two things he had thought were facts were actually lies. He found this unacceptable.

'Unfortunately, I must inform you otherwise. I have never been mistaken. I would be able to recognise that vile aura from anywhere. There is no doubt that it was Zorc's energy that was leaking from the portal.'

'Well, that's it. You must be mistaken.' Kaiba tried to argue.

'How dare you even suggest such a thing-'

'Screw what you say! I'm Seto Kaiba-'

'That's enough!' Surprisingly, it was Yuka who yelled at them, 'Kaiba, the dragon would never lie about such things. I know this is hard to believe but this is the truth. Great dragon, please understand that this is shocking so could you please be more sympathetic?'

The two looked away from each other but didn't make any more comments.

Yuka took a deep breath, she would have to be the one to try and understand the situation. The gang and Kaiba were too worked up at the moment and the lancers had no clue what was going on.

'Golden dragon? Did you truly feel Zorc's power coming from the portal?' Yuka had to ask one more time for her peace of mind. Even she couldn't believe this and she had never met Zorc, so how could her friends who were witnesses to his destruction?

The dragon was about to argue with her, but seeing the look she had he sighed and confirmed his earlier statement.

'But that makes no sense. We have already dealt with Zorc!' Yami questioned.

'What you go rid of was the fragment from the millennium puzzle and that thief. The rest of Zorc's soul has always remained in the shadow realm, perfectly in tack.'

'Does that mean Roget and the obelisk force were in the shadow realm?' Yugi picked up on that point.

'I doubt it. Mortals cannot last in the shadow realm, so it's most likely that the place they were banished to was linked to the shadow realm. Zorc is probably using them to help him escape the shadow realm.'
