[21] What happened

Hi everyone!

Here it is, the final chapter which will determine who will win!

Will it be Yuya and Yuka? Or Jack and Kaiba?

You'll only know by reading the rest of the chapter!

Yuka's pov

'You know, you should have grabbed that action card.' Yuya muttered to me.

'Yeah, I know.' I said irritated, 'You should have used odd eyes effect.'

'Yeah, I know.'

We were walking down the corridor of the stadium, after the duel with Jack and Kaiba. No words were said as we carried on walking, no destination in mind as we both reflected on the duel that had just taken place. But whenever we heard the faint chatter of people we changed course.

We carried on walking but I heard some faint noises. I couldn't be bothered to deal with the media and all their questions. So when I was about to head in another direction again with Yuya, the lizard shook his head at me. Curious, I decided to throw caution to the wind and just carry on, with Yuya burning a questioning gaze at the back of my head.

The voices sounded familiar as they got louder and my face broke into a huge grin, Yuya seeing it, knew something interesting was about to happen.

'Dere she is!' And with that, I was engulfed in a hurricane of questions. Then finally a light was shone upon me, like a divine revelation as a hand pulled me out of the storm. Next thing I know, I'm in someone's hold. Deciding to see who, I turned my head. Recognising the red and green hair made me stay where I was.

However, this seemed to earn a growl from someone in the group.

Yami narrowed his eyes at the being behind me and growled out, 'So who's this?'

Before I could say anything thing, Yuya beat me to it, 'What?! Yuka hasn't spoken about me?! Oh, how you wound my heart! Do I mean anything to you?!' He decided to put on the theatrics, so I naturally wanted to play along.

'Well of course, it was bound to be brought up, but I had no chance to.' I looked up at Yuya, trying to suppress my laughter. From the corner of my eyes, I could see Tea and Yugi smiling, with a knowing look, Tristan and Joey looking confused, but Yami. Yami was practically fuming.

Yuya pouted at me, 'And here I thought, you would have bragged about me. But no matter!' He switched his personality so fast, 'Hello, it's great to finally meet you, I am Yuya Sakaki. King of dueltainment!' He finished his introduction with an overly lavish bow.

'You know, you should have left the last part out.' I muttered so they all could hear me, making Yuya glare at me and Yami smile in triumph.

The gang all introduced themselves, some more reluctantly than others and adding in titles as well.

'I'm pretty sure that young Pharaoh will brake his hand, with that handshake.'

'I know, but Yuya's pride as an older brother is at stake, so he'll endure whatever it takes.'

'Prideful males.'

'Arrogant humans'

We both said at the same time, glancing at each other.

'Anyway.' Tea said, thinking of what to say as she glanced at the animosity between Yuya and Yami, who were both releasing intense auras. They were so intense, it made Joey hide behind Tristan, looking scared and rightfully so. I would know, what with being stuck in the middle of the two.
