[25] Arcade date!

Yuka's pov

I had just arrived at the arcade Yami and I had agreed to meet up at.

It was still awkward between us because of the kiss Yami had given me... Me more than Yami because he was under the impression that I had no idea about it.

How you may be wondering? Well, I used the fever as an excuse, I didn't remember half the phone calls I made so it was reasonable that I wouldn't remember the kiss. That is what I had convinced Yami of.

He was under the impression that I was confused after waking up and he had clumsily explained that I was still ill so I should take it easy. After that, he had been really self-conscious not that I can say much.

For me though... it was really awkward but I couldn't let it show because then Yami would know that I remembered and then he would get embarrassed, which would make me embarrassed it was a vicious cycle.

But I was grateful to Yami, I would have been sick for longer if he hadn't looked after me...

Spotting Yami I saw that we were-

'You're matching again... are you two secretly dating behind my back?'

'Why do you make it sound like I'm cheating on you?' I was disgusted with this thought.

But he had a point, our colour schemes were matching again... I was wearing a cute purple dress with a skirt that flared at the end and finished past my knees. Paired with a cute black denim jacket and black converse.

Yami was wearing black leather trousers, a purple shirt and a black jacket with black converses too, but I was soon snapped out of these thoughts.

'Yuka!'

'Yami!'

'Great golden liza- dragon!'

I looked at him shocked, Was he about to say, what I think he was?

'Pfft, you were going to call yourself a lizard! Hahaha! I can't believe it!'

'Shut up! I did no such thing you lying mortal! How dare you accuse me of such a thing!'

'I knew it! You really are a lizard! You're just lying to yourself to convince yourself you're a dragon!'

'I said shut up! How dare you say such a thing! I'll have you know that I am a genuine dragon!'

Yami looked confused when I turned around but I had to hold in my laughter, this was gold!

If only I had recorded that!

'I like your outfit Yuka, it looks cute.'

I blushed at his comment, his surprise attacks really got to me.

'You ready to have fun, Yuka?'

Dragging Yami by his hand, I ran inside, 'Of course, come on!'

We got our cards that held the points which let us play the arcade games.

'Which one first?'

There was too much to choose from. The lizard had left us because he was still embarrassed from his slip-up.

Yami saw that I was struggling so he decided to ask, 'Shall we have a competition?'

This piqued my curiosity, 'What's in it for me?'
