[34] Invasion...

Hello everyone.

New chapter. The title sounds ominous now doesn't it? Well, read on to find out what happens...

Yuka's pov

'Why did we have to come here early for?'

The lizard had insisted that we arrive at the park earlier then the agreed time. We were supposed to meet my brothers, their girlfriends and my friends for a picnic. It was a bonding experience... more like the girls wanted a chance to interrogate Yami, much to my brother's annoyance.

And all the snake has been doing since we arrived at the park was people watching again.

'Shhh! Stop interrupting my entertainment!'

'Join the entertainment industry, you'll get all the drama you're looking for.'

He ignored me and watched as a couple argued over a another person. 

How can he enjoy drama when we have enough trouble on our plates.

With that thought, I decided since the lizard is busy I'll do some work. I pulled out some holographic screens I was looking at before. I have been monitoring them closely because the disturbance frequency has been slowly increasing, sometimes shooting threw the roof.

Clearly what we had been worried about happening was about to unleash soon... Luckily I had my brothers here so they could help me.

'Human.'

'Hmm.'

'When will the rest come! Do they intend to stave this mighty being?'

'Had enough of watching people?'

'Of course not! And stop looking at that screen! It's annoying me!'

'...I'll do as I please.'

He wasn't wrong. Ever since the increase of foreign activity I had detected, most of my time was watching over the numbers to make sure that they didn't fluctuate abnormally.

'I just hate this calm before the storm stuff. The wait just makes it worse because my nerves have time to fester.' 

'I know. But wasting your nerves like this just wastes energy. For now, relax!'

'Sounds nice-'

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.

That sound caught the both of us off guard. I mean, we were both prepared that this would happen, we just hadn't thought it would be any time soon.

I could feel my breath hitch and my blood run cold at the sound. The dragon glanced at me, I swallowed and nodded back.

'It's towards the north.' The dragon had detected the exact location of the fluctuation.

With that we quickly made our way to the north of the park. Thankfully most people rarely came around this part so there was hardly anyone there.

'Confuse those around here. Make it so that when they look at the pro arc system they become enchanted and ignore it. Include videos in that too.'

The dragon took to the sky to spread his magic around the area, enchanting those who came here to turn around and not approach.

Getting my duel disk out, I held it out and made sure that the pro arc system covered the whole area the anomaly was occurring at so that what ever happened stayed in my system. If my system was unable to contain it, the dragon would then enforce the barrier with his own magic. Hopefully I wouldn't come down to that.
