Yuka's pov

Sigh

'Can I help you? Yami asked amused.

'Yes, you can.' I glared at him.

'Oh, do tell.' He smirked, Yami really looks so handsome when he smirks...

I shook my head so that I wouldn't spiral down my thoughts.

'You can help by letting me leave! I did all my work yesterday so I didn't have to come here today! But someone piled a whole load more!' I shouted, annoyed at being here for no reason.

'Really? I didn't know that had happened.'

'Like hell, you didn't! I'm so bored! Yami there's nothing to do!' I decided to annoy him, but he ignored me and went to help the rest of the student council.

'If Yuya was here it would be more fun.' I muttered.

That seemed to do the trick as Yami's eyes darted towards me.

'We had so much fun on the weekend when he was here but now he's gone back home, it's so boring!' I whined, saying it loud enough for Yami to hear.

I could see Yami was going to relent, but then Yukimura got involved.

'Yuka, you have to help! The Halloween event is almost here!' He yelled frantically, running back and forth like a headless chicken. I finally had enough of his running so I grabbed his collar and sat him down on a chair.

Damn it, Yukimura! I was so close to getting Yami to let me leave!

'You really need to stop panicking Yukimura. It doesn't help.' I deadpanned.

'Bu-bu-but-' Oh boy, here comes the waterworks.

'Please tell me you brought an umbrella?'

'Oh, look who's finally woken up.'

'I'm bored.'

'So you sleep? You don't even do anything, so of course you'd be bored.'

'So, what's your problem if I sleep?'

Why did I get stuck with such a lazy lizard?

'Well, we wouldn't have so much work if Yami just let me use my tech! I made a whole action field just for this event!' I whined. Everyone knew that I was the queen by now, which was nice cause people acknowledged my skills. But they also learnt about my tech as well. Let's say that I've been avoiding the Terror just as much as Hiccup does his dad when it comes to chief work. I just didn't have an awesome nightfury like he does.

'Hey! I'm much better than that nightfury! I'm great!'

'That's not narcissistic at all. Plus you can't compare yourself to Toothless, he's brave, cute, amazing and have I mentioned cute?' I rolled my eyes at him, saying this in a mocking tone.

'Of course, he's not! And that's not narcissistic! It's just having a high opinion of one's self.'

'Who talks like that any more.'

'Shut up with your smart-ass comments.'

I sniggered at this, almost missing what Yami had said.
