Yuka's pov

The field faded away once I had reached the ground, holding my duel disk up for the cubes to come and adjoin to it so that they wouldn't be lost.

Walking over to B, who was lying on the grass, in the same place he had been before, not looking like he was gonna get up any time soon, his arm draped over his eyes.

'Hey there, sorry I don't know your name 'cause I don't think I got it before we duelled. But my name's Yuka.' I said while rubbing the back of my head and having a guilty smile on my face.

'Reo, my name's Reo Adachi.' Said B- Reo.

'Well that dueltainment was amazing so I want to say thanks for a great duel!' I said to him while smiling at him.

'Why? I lost, I took that kid's cards and I'm a bully. So why are you thanking me?' Reo asked.

'Well, yeah everything that you just said is true.' I confirmed nonchalantly causing him to anime drop at my bluntness, but I added, 'Sure you lost, but you had fun even though I did test your patience, and it can't be a duel with only one person. Not only that, I can see that you've changed. Your heart has been opened and I was able to convey my feelings to you through the duel, and you've taken them, now haven't you?' I said looking down into his eyes.

'Yeah... Yeah, I get why you said that duels should be used for entertainment and not for violence. If it had been, I would have been creamed by you and nobody would have cared about it, it would have been just another duel. But, this changed not just me but all those who watched. Honestly, I don't think I have seen the city this full of life, and I've lived here my whole life.'

'Yeah, I've come to see that when a duel is played right, it can have a good effect. And I'm sure you get that now too.' I told him still maintaining eye contact.

'Well, I guess it's my turn to thank you for teaching me that duels are better when used for entertainment and not violence. So thanks.'

I held out my hand, 'No hard feelings?'

Taking my hand, I pulled Reo up, 'Nah, but I will beat you, your summoning methods and action cards someday.' He said while we both looked upon the happy faces we had put on people's faces from our duel.

'Hah, good luck but you haven't seen anything yet.' I told him smirking.

'Well I need to go, I need to return a certain something to a certain small kid.' Reo said smiling at me.

'Yeah, I guess you do and say thanks to the kid, for believing in me even when others had lost hope. Tell him that, that quality will take him far, further than most can go.' I said to him.

'Will do.'

I put my bracelet back on.

'I get it.'

'I'm glad you do.'

From the corner of my eye, I could see the golden dragon gazing upon the sight I had been looking at before with Reo.

'I apologise, I guess you really have grown since the last time I met you. I forgot that much time has passed since the last time we had met.'

'No it's fine, anyone would think I'm crazy.'

Watching Reo give the small boy his cards back and talking to him, both of them sporting big smiles.
