[30] Amusement park date!

Yuka's pov

Yami had gotten two tickets to the amusement park and had invited me to go with him. It was only going to be the two of us because Joey had "mysteriously" gotten ill.

I say mysteriously because it was all of a sudden and only happened after Yami had asked me to go with him to the amusement park.

Joey needs to take acting classes. Zuzu would hit him for his poor acting...

The others decided to nurse him back to health, I wanted to as well but they declined my help. Especially, Joey, he kept exaggerating that he was fine and would manage with so many people looking after him. The whole thing screamed, "set up"

I should know because of how many setups I've done with and against my brother.

Maybe someone else would fall for it... No actually, no one would. You can tell that they're all up to something, it was that obvious, but I decided to play along.

What confirmed that it was a set-up was when the snake decided that he didn't want to go with me. He never wants to not go somewhere, especially to a place he's never been to before.

Do you know the excuse he gave? He hates noise and that the amusement park would be too loud for his sensitive ears.

I call lies. He loves crowded places because that's where the most drama happens and the lizard lives for drama and for him to claim this I knew that he had colluded with them behind my back.

I was curious as to why but knew he wouldn't answer me.

Yami had come to my place so that we could travel there together. And you know the most coincidental thing? We were matching again.

He was dressed in a black zip-up hoody with a purple shirt under it, black trousers and black laced boots.

How was this happening? I couldn't even say that Yami did it on purpose because he was just as surprised that we wore similar clothes.

I'm going to blame the lizard. Talking about him, I can't believe that he stayed to "look" after Joey. What are they planning?

When we got there all my thoughts had gone because I was more focused on the amusement park.

Because Yami had paid for the tickets I decided to get us the fast-track pass so that we wouldn't have to wait in line. I hated the lines especially when I just wanted to go on as many rides as I could. They were a bit pricy but what else am I supposed to use the money I earn from Declan for? I don't work for the devil for no reason.

Naturally, Yami had argued, saying that waiting was the best part but I didn't listen, he can be patient but he can't expect me to be. Then he argued that if we have to get the pass he should buy it. Before he could carry on I had already swiped my card and wrapped the band around his wrist, easily shutting him up.

I was so excited! I haven't been in so long! I think the last time was before the dimension war... After that, we were too busy fixing the city, getting people used to having 4 different dimensions in 1 city, etc.

So we had no time for amusement parks.

That's why I was so happy when Yami invited me to go! I mean this was the place that me and Yuya fit in the most. We would usually choose an action field similar to an amusement park after all.
