Their professor was late, so their classroom was very noisy. The moment Xavian entered his classroom, he found it odd that his classmates were acting weird, they kept giggling and glancing at him with a teasing smile on their faces.

Once he sat in his seat, he heard them discreetly whispering about an engagement proposal.

"Is it just me or that guy has been staring at our window since morning? It looks like he's going to propose or something."

Xavian glanced at his seatmate, who was smirking at him. Xavian looked at the person he was pointing at, his breath hitched as he saw Javier looking straight at him.

Xavain just knew Javier was waiting for him. Javier is holding a bouquet of flowers. He is wearing a suit that looks similar to the one he wore during his proposal in Xavian's ast life.

Xavian knew what would happen once his class finished, and Xavian knew he needed to get out of the building as soon as possible.

Why can't Javier just leave him alone?

Xavian told him again and again that their relationship was already over. Xavian felt furious and nervous as each second passed. He didn't know if he should confront or just escape from this situation.

Xavian just felt so tired and drained about everything.

Now, it all made sense. Javier talked to his classmates about the proposal to pressure him into agreeing. Xavian is familiar in this kind of tactics, Javier used this tactics a countless times.

"He is my ex-boyfriend, he is just using me to make his first love jealous." Xavian's seatmate looked shocked when he heard that.

"Wait, what? Are you sure? Maybe it's just a misunderstanding."

Javier wouldn't probably expect him to tell the truth to his classmates. Xavain didn't want to get stuck in a situation where he would be pressured to agree on something he didn't want. He told his classmates about his past relationship, and they looked shocked, some were angry, while others didn't care that much.

"That was close, thank you for telling us, and I'm sorry for almost putting you in a scary situation." His classmate Mae looked apologetic as she threw a red rose on the trash can. Xavian's ex gave them red roses for the proposal, they all thought it was romantic, but it turns out he is such a creepy guy.

"It's ok, it's not your fault, you didn't know what happened." Xavain tightly gripped the pen in his hands, almost breaking it in half. "Please help me leave the campus without him noticing."

"But what about the money he paid us?" Xavian's classmate whispered to Mae, who just hit him harshly on the back of his head.

"Who cares about that?"

Javier was growing impatient, and Xavian's classmates weren't following his plans as they exited the classroom. Some are looking at him in disgust, pity, annoyance, or just plain apologetic as they pass by.

Javier couldn't see Xavian, he grabbed a student by his wrist to ask him where Xavian was, but he just apologized and told him that he didn't know.

Javier knew his plans failed, Xavain probably escaped once he saw him, but he didn't understand why his classmates let him escape.

Javier curses and messes up his hair in frustration. Why is it so hard to reconcile with Xavian? What does he have to do to fix their relationship?

He looked at the box of their engagement ring in melancholy. Javier understands that he hurt the one he loves, and he made shitty decisions that caused Xavian to suffer from his actions, but Javier is not going to give up that easily, he promised that he will make everything right.
