Crill Calypso had been the very first person I've become business partners with when I first started out. Suffice to say, he's efficiently competent when he needs to be but his indecisiveness sometimes slows things down and causes a fluctuation to occur in certain moments.

He'd owned solid groundwork of what his resort would look like; that much was needed in order for his ideas to grow. Accessibly, I obtained the chance by default to scrutinize his blueprints. Surely enough, they needed further insight and guided implementation.

Certainly, this could all be handled with proper maintenance and the right crew. Girls that just came out of nowhere claiming to have powers were out of the mix. A construct I hadn't foreseen at all in my years of industry experience and formal training.

As of the moment, Crill had entrusted to me four women out of five about how they were going to fulfill their roles abiding by the contract. While Crill lived in a world of business, his methods were somewhat annoyingly whimsical. Nothing short from the man I've worked with extensively. I knew him from head to toe, although I still couldn't seem to pinpoint what his true nature was considering he always smiled and hid his frustrations, nothing less from a businessman. They were always skilled at keeping up facades. This was inequality, unfairness. I was proud of my abilities to handle any situation, that hadn't changed ever since I exited the academe. Recalling the past seemed tedious now so I lined the girls up this morning, glanced at them just as I always did with the construction workers.

My reputation wouldn't be destroyed by this unfamiliarity.

I turned the computer on in Crill's room, doing the same with the air conditioning. A cool breeze entered the room.

"W-what did you just do?" The two dogs bared their fangs against the AC.

"Do they not have machines to control temperature where you come from?"

Fuwa's ears furrowed wildly. "It's always hot where we were. We're not used to it being cold."

Trust on these girls to be unfamiliar with everything.

"For today, I'm only assigning you simple tasks. This is preparation for more things to come in the future."

"What is to come?" Koseki raised her hand up lazily.

"Finish the task today and I'll update you girls on that one."

"We're watching what today?" Shiori Novella asked.

"Educational videos. I figured this'd be good to build up your theoretical knowledge before you apply them practically." After all, skilled people won't necessarily accept a complete amateur unless they knew a thing or two about their field. I can't very well have them be sent out there without any sort of visual training yet. If I told them that, no doubt they'd feel inadequate or their conviction shrinking.

Fuwawa was staring at me with sheer focus. It was hard to avoid it with my peripherals. It's like she knew what I'd thought.

Shiori had a question which I entertained.

"Considering our respective roles, it seems more practical for us to train in separate locations rather than sharing one room. My main responsibility is to share knowledge and instruct on specific tasks, while Koseki focuses on motivating workers to increase their efforts. Additionally, Fuwa and Moco are primarily responsible for security and guarding the premises. This division of tasks would be more efficient if we were situated in different areas." she continued. "Given my proclivities, it would be considerably more convenient for me to absorb the requisite information within a day and put it into practice, roughly estimating that this could occur by tomorrow, since I do absorb what I'm taught quickly."
