"These times are nostalgic, aren't they Kronii?"

"I never liked cars."

"You don't love a whole lot except yourself."

"That is very much true."

Until this moment, I'd never experienced a crowded car. The members of HoloMyth had made themselves at home inside my vehicle, stationed all the way at the rear, while Shiori and the rest occupied the backseat. We were going back home. The HoloMyth members mentioned they'd just tag along for a bit and go home when they've fulfilled their purpose. Whatever that is.

I'm not fully familiar with Hololive's idol hierarchy, but these four seem to be exceptionally popular, suggesting they hold top positions.

They're Hakos Baelz, Nanashi Mumei, Ceres Fauna, and Ouro Kronii. Supposedly, they embody living concepts of this world—Chaos, Humanity, Nature, and Time, respectively. It might sound confusing, but it's relatively straightforward when you consider it at surface level.

"Watch where you're going, asshole!" Another person driving a car roared as they overtook us.

"Same to you dumbass! For your information, Sarah learned to drive faster than you! I bet you can't drive properly on an incline! I hope your engine dies!" I hollered out as Sarah revved the engine and managed to overtake them again.

"Don't argue with them boss..." Sarah's eyes narrowed.

"It's a clean highway, what the hell are they screaming at you for?" I huffed in my seat, pushing my head back inside the car.

Once composed, I closed the car window and settled into the front passenger seat.

"You ladies are associated with Hololive." I said, stealing a glance at them in the rearview mirror.

"Indeed~ We're here to share news with the new soon-to-be recruits!" the woman I assumed to be Ceres Fauna replied, holding a golden apple and admiring the scenery. "Pleasure to meet you, Crill Calypso. You must be a kind person, taking in former prisoners to assist with your business."

I turned to face Fauna. "They're under contract, so they're obliged to work."

"Oh? Is that how you see us, Mr. Calypso?" Shiori's shoulders slumped.

"Quit pretending, Shiori," the goth girl chuckled at my ability to sense her being truthful or not. "They're not prisoners anymore; they're friends."

"Family?" Hakos wore a cat-like smile.

"What's it like working for him? Surely he doesn't mistreat you? Or worse... accidentally hug you in his sleep and whisper 'mommy' in his dreams?" Mumei had quite the imagination.

"Mommy?!" Fuwawa exclaimed.

"What are you suggesting?!" I exclaimed. "It's nothing like that! NOT AT ALL!"

Nerissa  jumped in the discussion. "Mommy? We're not your mothers."

Shiori stifled a laugh behind her hand.

"Still, while we fully support those who want to work for Hololive, I do think being with us carries a form of consequence." Hakos stated.

"Can you specify?" I asked.

"You're mixing in with the lot of us. That enough is already a consequence. Prepare what comes your way, human." I didn't know if that was foreshadowing something but I nod my head at her.
