"Please forgive the rudeness of caretaker. We desire impart our message nicely. Driving you away from your trip was not good. Will scold him severely."

I was at the forefront of meeting Fuwawa and Mococo's parents. We were currently in the living room, ingesting whatever normalcy I had left in me to endure more crazy and weird people enter my life. Their names were oddly Mamapuppy and Papapuppy. I am not kidding. You'd think the name was too simplistic. Small lulls enter the living room in random intervals, only ever receiving volume when the both of them talked and I replied courteously. They also didn't speak a lot of English, hence, why they had to take pauses in between. Now that I have a closer look, their mannerisms, their youthfulness, were identical to the twins.

Surprisingly, the furballs whom I knew to always be energetic and out-of-control looked meek and withdrawn from doing the sorts of things they were used to in the time they were here. Perhaps, the gazes of their parents alongside their presence was the primary cause. They were sitting beside me on the couch, their lips pursed, and looking anywhere but their parents.

"Oh no, it's fine..." I told them. Though in some fabric of this universe, my image turned black, the outline of my appearance turned white, and my surroundings cracked like glass, showing me the reality of my inner thoughts. No, Crill. It wasn't fine. Not only did we leave the forest in a hurry, we also left precious equipment there that other campers might've already stolen. Their unfortunate but convenient movements in grabbing the rest of the pile, scurrying away once they've had their fill like vultures. Picturing the idea in my head made me clench my fist. How dare they steal away my life's savings? Even the car was grazed from those damned animals clawing and colliding against it.

"Come with us to Hell! Our family wants to meet you! Our husband!"

Those were the words that came out of those twins' mouths. What was this kind of crap I got myself into? Was this a soap opera? I didn't want to be put into a position where I'd be uncomfortable so I immediately tried asking those two what the heck was happening. They didn't really say much and only now would honesty be impossible to avoid.

"In any case, it is nice to meet person who care of Fuwawa and Mococo. We thankful you guide them. I'm Mamapuppy and this is Papapuppy. You can call me mama~"

"We came to see daughters. Over familiar with a human, Mama!" Papapuppy advised his wife earnestly.

I nervously chuckle.

"Sorry! He's cute!" Mamapuppy barked.

"Apparently, your caretaker frightened your daughters so much that they were pressured to guilt-trip me into being their fake husband." I said with a scratch at the back of my head, my posture remaining firm but humble. It was always key to look cordial in these types of situations to avoid getting into unnecessary crossfire. Nothing good would come out of this if an argument arose. As much as possible, I wanted Fuwawa and Mococo to limit their words and only reply when needed.

"W-wah! Please don't mention that!" Fuwawa's dog ears flapped flustered alongside Mococo's. There's no use acting all cute with me here with your blushed-up cheeks. It was partially the twins' fault their parents have this perception of me being their lover.  After clearer communication with them when they reached out, they also understood the situation and decided it would be best to visit us here on Earth instead. Which brought me again the question of where they resided. I've really had enough of things out of this world but it was inevitable. I was pretty much one myself anyway.

"That part true... As much as possible, we want avoid conflict in future with other, you taking good care of daughters is good."

"I'm just curious why they'd say that I should act like their husband. Is there some sort of pressure being put onto your family for their children to marry?"
