In Nigeria, we have different tribes and these tribes have different tradition, culture, food and languages. Nigeria is a populous country. Each tribe or ethnic have different foods, the Igbos are known for their Bitterleaf soup, Oha soup etc., the Yoruba are known for their Gbegiri, Ewedu soup and Hausas are known for their Tuwo, Miyan Kuka etc.


SOUPS: Ogbono soup, Efo riro, Afang soup, Egusi soup, Gbegriri, Ewedu, Black soup, Waterleaf soup, Okra soup, Oha soup, Nsala soup, Okazi soup, Banga soup etc.


RICE: Jollof rice, Fried rice, White rice, Coconut rice, Pineapple rice, Banga jollof etc.


SWALLOW: Garri, Fufu, Wheat meal, Tuwo Shinkafa, Pounded yam, Semolina, Tuwo Masara, Amala, Oatmeal swallow etc


YAM: Porridge/portage yam, White yam, Vegetable yam


STEWS: Banga stew, Tomato stew


SAUCE: Tomato, Chicken, Beef, Vegetable Sauce


PLANTAIN: Porridge, fried, chips


POTATO: Porridge, fried, chips


SPAGHETTI Jollof, white, Fritti/Fried


BEANS: Porridge, Bare, Yam, Plantain, Rice, Bread, Corn, Pap
