MELODY

The flight to New York felt like forever. It took exactly 6 hours to get there, though. This isn't the first time I travel to New York. Being born in LA, my parents soon moved to New York, and pretty much I've lived here for a really long time. But, I also went back to LA a lot of times with Harry.

I kept jumping in my seat asking Harry if we were there yet every two seconds, and it absolutely drove him insane. I couldn't help it, but my excitement was consuming me. I told him on the plane how I twirled, and danced in front of the judges, since I haven't had enough time to tell him back home ; we were packing our bags. Harry have watched me in amusement when I told him how all the judges stood up from their seats, and clapped for me when I was done. I saw Harry blinking away tears of proudness, and I just grinned because everything's finally working out for me.

Harry throws his hand around my shoulders, as we get out of the airport. "Is Louis coming after us tomorrow?" I ask.

He nods his head shortly and says, "What did they tell you?" Harry looks down at me, referring to the agency I will sign a contract with.

I answer, taking in the loud New York City. "They said the coaches will be here the next week or something, and I'll sign the contract with them."

After riding a Taxi, Harry requests the man to stop and drop us off nex to a supermarket. Giving the driver money, I then get out after Harry. He pulls out our suitcases from the trunk, and the car drives away when we're done.

"Stay here, I'll go in and buy some things." Harry says, watching him as he enters the supermarket.

I sigh, as I watch all the busy people rushing to their jobs. I've never been to this area in New York before. It looks new and old, at the same time. A small white fluffy dog starts walking towards me, making me kneel down slightly at the ground. I motion for it to approcah me more, and it complies. "Hello there."

I smile, and when I raise my hand to pet his head, he suddenly barks and snatches off my diamond necklace from my neck with his sharp teeth. He turns on his heel, and runs to a dark alley down the street.

"Hey!" I yell, my legs immediately working to run after his steps.

I sprint towards the direction of the dog, but there's no sight of it. Where did it go? That necklace was damn pricey, and expensive. I furrow my eyebrows, as I turn around to return to Harry, but I get faced with a brick wall. What?

I see a bright light at the end of the dark alley I'm currently in, and my pace immediately quickens toward it. This must be the exit.

I find myself on a different street than the one Harry left me at. "Dammit!" I curse, as I stomp my feet on the ground. I begin to panic, then push my way through the crowded people until I find myself yet again in a different, small neighborhood.

I groan, when the adrenaline can't stop rushing through my veins. Calm down it's okay. I'll just call Harry. I search for my phone in my pockets, but I can't find it anywhere. Where the heck is it?! Realization hits me when I remember that I left my phone in my purse, which I left in the suitcase where the suitcase is with Harry.

I face palm myself mentally at my strong stupidity, and my head faces the floor as I walk around the neighborhood. I cross my hands over my chest in frustration. I'll have to find the nearest payphone, but it slowly hits me that I don't have money on me. Harry must be worried sick right now, he's going to yell at me for leaving the—
