Melody
I wrap my hands around the warm cup of tea, and bring it to my mouth. I sip slowly, trying not to burn my tongue, then set it back down on the counter. After I left Zayn's flat, I had nothing to do for the rest of the day, so I thought I'd visit Harry at the small bakery down the street. To say I'm not hurt by what Zayn said, then I'd be lying for sure. If we're friends, then why does he kiss me all the time? As far as I know, friends don't kiss, almost make out, and cuddle. At the moment, Harry gives a young girl her change and hands her a bagel wrapped in a brown bag. He flashes her a big grin, as she waves at him and leaves with her mother. Harry approaches me, with his hands on his hips.
"How's the tea, my lady?"
I giggle, "It's good, thank you."
"How about we go somewhere when my shift ends?" Harry asks me cleaning a table nearby.
"Yeah, sure. But where?" I ask, wondering where he would want to go.
He mumbles, "I was thinking we could go to the orphanage."
I stare blankly at first but then blink quickly by replying, "Okay.."
"Great." Harry gives me a small smile, while kissing my cheek.
He returns to his work, while I continue on drinking my tea when my phone beeps loudly. I slide the answer call, without looking at the screen.
"Hello?"
"Hey Mel!" Louis' enthusiastic voice bursts, "Where are you?"
"Hi Lou, I'm at the bakery with Harry. Do you need anything?"
"No, I was calling to check up on you. I'm still at the football match, don't you wanna come over?" Louis asks with a string of hope laced in his voice.
I sigh frowning, "I can't, Harry and I have some things to do. I promise, I'll be there at your next match." I smile against the phone, even though he can't see me.
"Okay, I l- I-I'll see you later, yeah?" I hear loud screams of cheer and Louis stammers.
"Yeah, bye." I make a funny kissing voice, which makes Louis chuckle. I hang up and Harry approaches me once again, "My boss told me I can go, my shift is over. Shall we leave?" Harry says, getting his apron off.
****Harry parks in the empty and silent parking lot, and we both get out of the car. The tall wrought iron gates surround the gloomy building - the whole compound is surrounded with a high fence to keep strangers out, with only a single gate. In the back of the modern building, lies a huge yard. We once went there with all the other kids, and built a playground but unfortunately it has fallen to pieces right after we attempted to built it. We were five for god's sake. Harry and I approach the security guard at the gate, which brings memories to my mind, good one's though. One time, we climbed up the tall gate and snuck out to grab ice cream in the middle of the night. It was insane.
"Harry? Harry Styles?!" The security man widens his eyes, as he pulls Harry for a bone - crushing hug.
"God, you've grown up to a handsome man already! Who's this young lady?" He flashes me a respectful smile and I immediately introduce myself, before Harry can speak for me like always.
"Melody, Harry's sister." I shake his hand with a smile and he quirks an eyebrow at me then turns to Harry.
"Oh, you're -"
