"It's New Jersey, Harry, not Japan!" I frustratedly say. "Oh, for God's sake!" I exclaim, still pacing back and forth. "I need to go now, I'll call you later. Yeah. . . Yeah, okay. Bye." Hanging up the phone, and throwing it on the counter in front of me, I sigh as I stare at my reflection in the mirror. Taking back a seat, I massage my temples.
Julie, my personal make up artist, continues to dab the beauty blender over my face.
"Was that Harry?" Liam asks from across the room.
I look at him through the mirror. Niall's laying over his lap, while Liam runs his fingers through his fiancé's blonde locks. "Yeah, it was him." I furrow my eyebrows.
Niall speaks out with confusion and worry, "Why're you upset?"
I let out a frustrated sigh, "I'm just so fed up with him and his hidden secrets, all that stalling he does, and his messed up life."
Liam then says with a soft tone, "He's your brother, Mel. You have to look after him, too. You need to understand him—"
"I won't understand him if he doesn't understand me. We've been in New York for almost a year and half, and he still treats me like a child, Liam. It didn't even begin when we moved here. He's always been treating me like a child. All my life, I've felt like a prisoner when he acts like that. I'm honestly so done with him." I reply, while watching how Julie applies the glowing highlighter across my cheekbone.
Niall and Liam unsurprisingly sigh at the same time, then Niall speaks up again.
"Look, we don't want any troubles now, okay? Our wedding is in a week and I don't want to have you and Harry throwing knives at each other there, yeah?"
A laugh escapes my mouth, my mood instantly changing as I feel giddy inside because of these two idiots' wedding. They make such a powerful couple, and I honestly can't wait until they're married.
"Alright." I smile.
"By the way, did you decide what're you gonna wear yet? Because I've seen this gorgeous Elie Saab couture dress, that is to die for! You have to try it on. I immediately imagined you in the dress, and you'd look fabulous in it." Niall rambles on and on, actually making me more excited for their wedding.
"Sure, Ni." I chuckle. "Just imagine a tiny looking Liam or Niall running around in a tutu back at the studio while we rehearse." I laugh, imagining the sweet scene.
Liam cooes. "Aw, that would be the most cutest thing in the whole damn world, right baby?" He looks down at Niall.
Julie now finishes my eye makeup, then gets to my lips for a striking deep red color. My hair is already pulled into its tight, famous ballerina bun, my mask is ready for me to put it on, and perform my heart out to my beloved fans.
"It definitely would." Niall squeals.
