Melody

After Louis orders our food, we sit in silence. My heart aches remembering how Zayn looked upset earlier, what was he doing here anyways? If Louis has anything to do with Zayn's sudden arrival, I swear to god I'll swipe off that grin off his face and knock him down, literally. But Louis wouldn't do something like that, right? My questions remain unanswered as always, until a young waiter approaches our table.

He opens up the bottle of Champagne in his hands, then he pours it into our glasses. "This is our finest Champagne in here." The brunette guy flashes me smile.

I return it, taking a sip from my glass. "Thank you, this is absolutely pretty good."

He nods smiling then Louis says loudly, "My girlfriend just loves Champagne, so we'd like another bottle."

With furrowed eyebrows I roll my eyes at Louis, and he just smiles. When the waiter is out from our sight, I glare at Louis. "What was that for?"

He says in a hushed voice, "Lily was looking our way, so I thought I can say that."

I nod slowly sighing, as I give a glance at Lily. She was already looking at our table, then she makes eye contact with me for at least 30 seconds. I look away turning to Louis, he's scrolling through his phone. He types something, then locks it and puts it back in his pocket.

Louis places his hand over mine on the table, softly caressing his thumb over my hand. I look up confused and he hisses, "Just go with it."

I look around then intertwine our fingers. Louis squeezes my hand tightly, while his lips form a big grin and his eyes crinkle. I quickly turn my head toward Lily, she's looking down at our intertwined hands. I gulp down as I see her soft features change into anger and jealousy. She slowly looks up to meet Louis' eyes, Lily clenches her hands into fists, then grips her purse and stands up. She stomps out of the booth she was sitting in, then makes sure to pass our table. I stare blankly at her swaying hips saying, "Well, that escalated quickly."

Louis laughs, then I take my hand back to my lap. He frowns clearing his throat awkwardly, and finally our food arrives. Louis ordered for me the famous dish by the restaurant which is a, Double-Smoked Salmon with Horseradish Cream and a side salad. I don't usually eat fish, but I like to try new things. So, this won't hurt.

While Louis digs in his steak, I take small bites from the Salmon, and pick at my salad. This isn't my favorite thing in the world, but it will do for tonight. Louis gazes at me while drinking from his glass of champagne, I look back at him in confusion.

I ask out of curiosity, "What does Lily do for a living?"

Louis shifts looking back at his plate, "She, uh, she's like you.."

My eyebrows furrow together, "Like me?"

"I mean," He sighs. "She's a ballet dancer, like you."

My lips part in realization. "Oh, okay." I tease, "Who dances better though?"

"You, of course" Louis says like it's the most obvious thing.

I roll my eyes lightly laughing, "Have you watched her dance before?"

Louis nods. I stare at him with big eyes, wanting to know more information about her.

"Maybe we can be friends!" I say with wide eyes and a smile.

"No!" Louis laughs shaking his head.

"Just think about it! Lily—What's her last name?" I ask him.

"Smith."

I continue saying in a tough voice, "Lily Smith and Melody Styles lighted up the stage as they rocked out with their incredible dance!"
