As the orange hue of the rising sun lit up the streets of Mustafu, a figure can be seen sitting on top of a rooftop of a building. A serious and determined look etched on the person's face as the wind flowed freely through his hair. Izuku Midoriya, with sweat , dressed in his "t-shirt" T-shirt, black gym shorts, and red high tops, he looked at the orange horizon before him.

It had been three days since the USJ incident but all of it seems like it happened just yesterday. He could still feel the faint pain in his chest, where the bullet of Snipe's gun had entered. Though the man is now in prison, Izuku still couldn't shake the feeling of betrayal he had felt.

Taking a deep breath, he summoned smoke from his body and Smoke Dashed down the building. It was eerily quiet in the usually bustling streets of Mustafu, which makes sense since it had just been sunrise and no one except for the early street sweepers were awake at the time. Though too early for his liking, he didn't really have a choice since he had an early appointment with Nezu today, regarding the incident back in USJ.

They could've talked about it the day after the incident but he was too physically and mentally drained to walk out of his room, which Nezu understood and let him rest. Though the incident wasn't the only reason why he didn't go to school the following day.

FLASHBACK

In a dark place illuminated by the familiar orbs, a few feet from the said orb, Izuku stood there as shock and confusion could be seen etched on his face as he stared at the person in front him. Cole Macgrath, the person claiming to be his deceased father.

The man gave out an intense and sharp aura yet a calm and caring aura around him. Despite the calming aura of the man before him, Izuku couldn't help but to be intimidated by the man's stare filled with seriousness and had experienced so many things in his life.

Confusion still visible in his face, Izuku spoke up. "H-how can you be my dad? H-he's dead! There's no way you're my dad." he said.

The man just looked at him with a thoughtful look and sighed. "I know it's hard to believe, but I am certain that I am your dad, Izuku." he said as he took a step forward, stopping a few inches from Izuku as he stared at the boy's emerald eyes. "The fact that you have the same eye and hair color as Inko-chan is a dead giveaway." Izuku's eyes widened at the mention of his mom.

No way... H-he's ... he's really my dad? He asked himself as he began shaking. He had always wanted to meet his father and now that he's in front of him, he doesn't know what to do. His train of thoughts was shattered when the man continued talking.

"And the fact that you have a strong conduit gene speaks volumes of it." Cole said, making Izuku look over at his direction.

Izuku took a step forward, eyes wide of shock. "You're a conduit too?" he asked. The man only snorted in amusement.

"A Prime Conduit to be exact." he said as electricity began crackling on the man's finger tips. Izuku watched in awe and amazement before his eyes went up to his father.

He couldn't believe it. His father. The person that his mom had always told stories about how his dad was a hero in his time, but had died sacrificing thousands of lives to protect millions from a very dangerous enemy. The person that had died before their family could even start.

But that's what confused him. If his father was dead, then how is he face to face with him right now?

His thoughts were answered when the man spoke up again. "It's because we are in your mindscape, son." Izuku blinked at the man."I know it's not as good as you expected, but it's better than having a mindscape filled with skulls, right?" he said as he walked towards the orb with Izuku following not far behind.
