Day 25: Cuddling and Snuggling

"Hola, hermanita."

Cortez stared at the pinkette in a state of shock, not daring to believe what she was seeing. She couldn't mistake the summer breeze scent though, her brother always smelled summery. Add the red dragon scales around parts of his body, her doubts can no longer be found.

"Apollo?" She asked quietly, her feathers ruffling and releasing some heat. "Eres tú?"

"Sí." He said and laughed and he got taken down to the floor in a massive hug. Now that laugh was unmistakable, the Thermal teen knew his laugh was unique and no one else could reproduce it.

"Hermano! It has been so long, how did you find me?" She said, crying in happiness. She felt him wrap his arms around her and give her a powerful dragon hug.

"I was watching the school competition a year ago and when they mentioned Cortez battling another competitor that was when I paid more attention." Apollo replied and looked down at his sister. "I would have to say, your Quirk was amazing. You gave your classmate a run for his gold!"

Cortez snuggled even closer. "Yeah, but I had to withdraw when my Dragon Rage was overpowering my conscience." She took a deep breath to draw her brother's scent in.

"You were smart to do so, Aurora. Dragon Rage is not something we should use to harm, but to protect." He then tickled her scaled sides with his dragon nails, causing her to squeal and laugh.

"So anyway," Apollo continued, stopping his tickling. "Once I realized who you were I talked to Headmaster Makarov at Fairy Tail Academy to see if we could arrange a meeting." He then growled a bit. "Took some time due to recent events of attacks upping security at UA after those Villain attacks. They had to make sure I was legit, which is understandable."

"Which is how I was able to meet up with Apollo." Hawks said and handed the two some hot chocolate with cinnamon. "I am your guardian so I knew more of your past. I asked him about his family history to see if they lined up and it did."

Cortez grabbed the red-winged Hero and pulled him in her own dragon hug, cracking a few joints in his spine. Hawks melted in her arms and the two teens chuckled. "Thank you, Hawks. I am so happy to reunite with my brother."
