Cortez, Tsuyu, and Midoriya decided to spend the night together in Cortez's room as it has been a long time since they had what they call 'girl talk', even if Midoriya is in the ring. He and Tsuyu are the Climate girl's best friends so they tend to have deeper conversations. They were 3 months overdue, as the training and school classes were a lot harder in 2nd year.
So with permission from their Aizawa Sensei, they were allowed to sleep together for the weekend. Cortez moved the coffee table and her book collections to the side and set up the king-size air mattress and set up the blankets, Tsuyu got sandwiches, and Midoriya was getting some drinks.
Once everything was set, the trio then had their meal on the mattress and were drinking either water, tea, soda, or in Cortez's case Lavender Iced Tea.
"Is that tea really good? What does it taste like?" Midoriya asked as he looked at the pale purple liquid with curiosity. It smelled good and refreshing to the boy that eventually his mouth was salivating to the point it needed to be satisfied.
Cortez picked up on what Midoriya was wanting and she giggled. "You can have some, you bought the drinks."
"Yeah, but I knew you really liked anything with lavender so I didn't want to take your favorite drink..." He said timidly and looked down.
Cortez and Tsuyu looked at each other and giggled at the boy's innocent cuteness. "Tsu, pass me a cup."
"No problem, kero." She said and poured a cup of the same Lavender tea then handed it to Cortez. Cortez then gave Midoriya the cup.
"Here."
"Ah...thank you." Midoriya stammered and took a small sip. The next thing the duo had to do was cover their eyes from the stars and tears coming out of the boy's eyes as he looked like he was in heaven. "Oh my God, this is so amazing! I have never had anything so refreshing! No wonder you like this!"
"Si, Si, it is very refreshing and helps with sleep and relaxation" Cortez giggled. "Please turn off the stars, Bunny, your brightness is blinding us."
Midoriya jolted and laughed. "Ah, gomen." And he turned off the Supernova mode.
"The fact you are able to do that is way beyond me, Midoriya, kero." Tsuyu said and smiled a bit. "You definitely could blind some Villains that way."
"I agree."
"Really?" Midoriya said and was skeptical, but as he saw the other two still blink the spots out of their eyes, he began to think if that was the case.
After that bit, they started to settle down and Cortez dimmed the lights to the soft-blue glow of her lamps and got on the left side of the mattress, with Tsuyu on the right, and Midoriya in the middle.
After a few minutes of winding down, Tsuyu asked a question. "Aura-chan, what is it like with your relationship with Todoroki?"
Cortez squeaked at the sudden question and blushed slightly. Midoriya looked at her in curiosity and a slight look of jealousy. Tsuyu just looked at her normally but in her mind, she was smiling.
"W-well, it was unusual at first. I remember when we first met in the entrance exams he hated my guts because me and Inasa beat him and he placed third. He had a look of pure hatred that scared me then eventually pissed me off when I was trying to help him at the USJ when the villains attacked, remember?" She then shifted a bit. "He tried to keep to himself, but eventually I felt like he needed someone to talk to, or at least try to have a friend."
"I remember a few times that you were trying to talk to him and he would look at you for being weird." Tsuyu said, then laughed a little. "You were quite persistent."
Cortez laughed. "Damn right, I was. It was until I met his father at the competition when I realized the hatred was towards his father."
Midoriya then growled. "The way he treated Todoroki-kun like a weapon just to beat All Might because HE couldn't do it himself. That was a cowardly move."
"Si, and it eventually triggered my trauma...I never really had a good relationship with my father either." Cortez said suddenly, then becoming quiet. The two of them waited for a few moments to allow her some time. Eventually, she came back and she giggled evilly.
"It felt good to call him out on it, though. Constantly yapping at Shoto to "use his left" I had to tell him to shut up."
Midoriya and Tsuyu then laughed loudly for several seconds.
"Hahaha, I remember that! We and the rest of the viewers were stunned into silence when you told him to stop nagging like a bitch in heat." Midoriya said and laughed again.
"And I thought I was brutal, kero." Tsuyu said with a smile.
"It sure was satisfying though, even more so because that was when I was able to get a good laugh from Shoto. We became friends ever since and we talked more and more. We then became a couple at the Lavender Festival last summer."
"We are glad for you Aura-chan, kero." Tsuyu said and Midoriya nodded in agreement. "Will you still be living with the Todoroki during winter and summer breaks?"
Cortez nodded, "They have made arrangements for me to do so even if I protested, though I don't have any other place to go as the house has been sold and I never really had a lot of stuff. It's fine though, that place had no good memories."
"You can always hang out with us as well if you need some days to yourself." Midoriya said. "Though you will have to deal with my mom being overbearing."
Cortez giggled. "I'll think about it, Bunny." She then got to the next topic. "Now, Bunny, when will you and the Pomeranian become a couple?"
It was Midoriya's turn to get caught off guard and his face became a red tomato. "H-h-huh!?!?" Was his intelligent reply.
Tsuyu stared at him for a second. "You have been around Bakugou a lot and every once in a while we see you blush in his direction. Have you told him how you feel?"
Midoriya then covered his face around his arms. "I-is it that obvious?"
"Very." Both girls said. The poor boy started to boil in flustered embarrassment.
"...I want to tell him but...I don't think he sees me the same way." Midoriya said eventually, lowering his arms and looking sad. "I don't even know his preference, and he's sometimes hard to tell when it comes to romance. He even tells me to get lost if I annoy him and it hurts but...I don't know why I am still drawn to him."
Cortez looked at him with a look of empathy. "So you don't know if he likes guys or girls, and with his Tsundere attitude you don't know how he will react?"
Midoriya nodded, the other two looked at each other with the same thought. How can we help him with this?
"Bunny, sometimes we don't know the true answer unless we talk to the other person. Though, I know he does yell at you constantly, but I sense no hostility in his voice." Cortez said and put her hand on his cheek to get him to look at her. "We'll support you if you need help." Cortez said with a smile.
"That is right, Midoriya-kun. I will hold him down if need be, kero." Tsuyu said, sticking her tongue out.
"Thanks girls." Midoriya said and smiled widely again, and the trio hugged and fell asleep a few minutes later. Cortez was the last to fall asleep as she smelled a familiar caramel scent from behind her door for a brief second before it disappeared.
