Day 17: Domestic Fluff

"Thank goodness it is Saturday!"

Cortez was taking her laundry to the washroom, the last 2 weeks were pretty hectic when she and the other Heroes were called out in a massive earthquake in Tokyo. All Heroes had to be there, even the reserves. It was a lot of work but they did save people trapped in the buildings as well as made sure supplies were getting to disaster zones. Hawks and Cortez were in charge of water dumping on hotspots or fires while the rest of the gang were on ground rescue.

"It was a very tough 2 weeks, but we did the best we could," Todoroki replied with his own basket. "I just hope we don't have to deal with that anytime soon.

"That is true, but at least we may have some forewarning." Cortez replied as she opened the door and headed towards an empty washing machine. "Remember when I was saying I kept getting a sense of foreboding for a few days before the event?"

Todoroki tilted his head in thought. "Yes, I do remember that. You were very restless."

"Yes, I talked to Hawks about it and it turns out since we have animal DNA we have a heightened 6th sense." She replied and dumped her clothes. "It is like an intuition, but in my case us birds can detect a change in magnetic fields. That is what I was picking up on, the magnetic disturbance."

Todoroki looked surprised. "Like migration, some birds go North or South or which way to go."

"Exactly!"

"That could be useful." Todoroki replied and dumped his laundry in another machine before he noticed something. He then blushed when he picked up the clothing and coughed nervously. "U-umm, Luna?"

"What?"

He held up a blue bra at his girlfriend.

Cortez blinked a few times then became violently red. "Give me that!" She lunged at Todoroki and they both collapsed on the floor with her on top.

She then sat up with her bra in her hand and smiled in victory. "Jesus, I totally forgot that I left this in your room when we watched a movie together."

"..."

"Canelo?" She looked down when she noticed the room was heating up quickly. Todoroki was still under her and he was blushing hard and was the same color as a flashed tomato. "Ah...hehe...oops." She smiled nervously and got off of her boyfriend before he set something on fire.
