Day 5: Watching the Sunrise

Bakugou yawned widely as he, Cortez, Todoroki, Uraraka, Tsuyu-Chan, and Midoriya were waiting for the sun to rise on the beach. He was dead tired, and it was to be expected, as last night there were also fireworks on the last day of summer break. Midoriya looked at him with slight worry.

"You doing ok, Kacchan?" Midoriya asked and the blonde glared at him causing the green-haired boy to flinch.

"We have been up almost 24 hours, how the hell do you think I feel?" Bakugou growled, then smiled. "About 30 more minutes until the sun rises, then the entire weekend I can sleep my ass off."

"That's true," Cortez said and giggled at the two. "It will also depend if your mom will let you sleep in."

The Explosion Hero looked back with a tick mark. "Like I will let the old hag boss me around."

"Despite what you say, you will always do whatever she asks." Tsuyu said bluntly, and this made him even madder. "You are just a sheep in wolf's clothing."

Cortez, Uraraka, and Todoroki laughed out loud and Bakugou jumped off and lifted his hands, setting off small blasts.

"I'll kill you all!" He yelled, and Midoriya was trying to calm him down but he got the full brunt of the blonde's wrath.

"Kacchan, please calm dow-"

"I am calm, get lost!"

The group then was silent as they saw this and Cortez subtly saw Midoriya shake in fear and sadness. Damn Chihuahua. Cortez thought and promised she would punish him later. Uraraka looked like she was about to cap him but Tsuyu was holding her back and a small fire was coming out of Todoroki's left side.

Cortez had enough. "Izu-Kun, come over here. Let the Chihuahua fizzle himself out." Midoriya complied and walked towards the group. What was that look just now? She thought as the Thermo Quirk teen thought she also saw a slight look of sorrow coming from the blonde. She pushed that aside though as Midoriya got closer, she grabbed his wrist and pulled him onto her lap and his head was resting on her chest. He slightly blushed.

"A-are you sure this is ok?" Midoriya asked timidly, then looked at Todoroki. He then felt his friend's arms wrap around him followed by her purple wings.

"It's fine, you are not getting a nosebleed, right?" Cortez teased and Midoriya just laughed and agreed. Then she looked at Bakugou. "Besides, it is a plus for me when the Yapping Chihuahua looks like he is about to murder me."

Indeed when everyone looked back at the blonde teen, he was shaking so badly that they thought he was going to explode right then and there. Everyone laughed at the poor teen as he was clearly outnumbered. He eventually sat down with a huff, and Midoriya giggled slightly at his antics. Good, he was out of that rut.

"Hey look, the sun is about to rise!" Uraraka yelled, and everyone in the surrounding area was cheering as well when the beautiful glow of the rising sun rose ever higher on the horizon.

"So beautiful!" Midoriya said, eyes glowing in all its brightness. "It is always refreshing to see nature at its best."

Cortez nodded. "Yep, sure it is, and it is even more beautiful when you see them together with friends." Everyone else nodded in agreement. Then she made one last jab. "Now only if the Chihuahua would stop scowling."

"Screw you, Dragon Bitch!" Bakugou yelled and flipped her off.

And that caused Uraraka to float him for the rest of the sunrise, ignoring his screams and curses as Midoriya looked at Bakugou in worry.

"K-kacchan!"

"He's fine Bunny, Choco-Chan will not kill him, yet."
