"What are you making, Luna?" Todoroki asked as he saw cartons and cartons of eggshells, different colored paints, thin pieces of paper, and a mix of flour, glitter, streamers, confetti, and other stuff all over the kitchen table.
"I think the better question is, where the hell did she get these eggshells and where did she hide them." Bakugou said, and he did have a fair point. There were pyramids of eggs and egg cartons that the rooms were not big enough to hold.
Cortez looked up and smiled at Todoroki. "Morning. I am just making some cascarones with the group. You two are going to take the Hero's Exam right?"
"Yes, we are planning to pass this time." Todoroki replied and patted her head.
"So what the hell are cascarones?" Bakugou asked, holding up a colored egg with a film on top.
"Cascarones are dried eggshells filled with different types of varieties. It can be small toys, glitter, confetti, and in some cases colored flour or chalk." The teen smiled and giggled. "Mi Mamá and I used to do this every year for Christmas actually, making them into ornaments until Christmas Day and after lunch everyone would grab the cascarones and throw them at everyone. It can be a mess, but we always enjoyed the tradition."
"That's a silly-ass tradition." Bakugou said and he got elbowed by Todoroki. He was confused at first then realized he had said something stupid. He was about to apologize when the minty-haired teen laughed softly.
"I know it may be silly," Cortez said quietly, eyes glistening. She then looked up at them again with a look of remembrance. "But, it holds a place in my heart on what I used to do with Mamá, so I won't forget this easily."
The rest of the group at the table laughed at her going into nostalgia mode. Midoriya then looked at Bakugou and Todoroki. "Good luck with the exams!!
"Hah! I don't need any luck!" Bakugou said smirking and gave a thumbs down. "I'm awesome enough as it is that I will pass this exam!"
Cortez did a cute snort. "Didn't you say that last time, Pommy? What was the result back then?"
Bakugou had a massive tick mark on his head and everyone else was laughing at him as he looked quite flustered. "That was just a fluke, Dragon Bitch!"
She then gave a pure look and giggled. "Fluke my ass, your attitude was the one that cost ya."
Again everyone else laughed, and Todoroki had to tap the steaming blonde on his shoulder to get his attention. "Bakugou, it is time to go, we need to get to the site."
'Tch' Bakugou said and turned around. "Yeah, yeah."
The two of them left as the rest of the group continued coloring and filling the empty eggshells when Midoriya was occupied with what his friend had said. "Aura-Chan?"
"What is it, Bunny?" Cortez said, looking up from her painting.
"I was wondering what had started you calling Pommy?" He asked and Kaminari and Kirishima laughed hard. Cortez was laughing too as it was a hilarious story. "What?"
Kaminari was the first to calm his laughter, "Dude, it is hilarious! It was during when we got back from the Interns and he was with the Best Jeanist."
"Huh?" Midoriya asked with his head tilted.
Kirishima then continued the conversation. "Yeah, you weren't there at that time but when Bakubro arrived in the classroom, his hair was all flat and neat. It was so funny!"
"Kacchan, with neat hair?" Midoriya said slowly and made a visual of him in Best Jeanists hairstyle. The image then exploded and Midoriya shuddered at the sight. "That Kacchan looks way scarier..."
