Day 28: Soothing Baths

The next few days the snowstorm hit pretty hard and everything was at a standstill until it had passed. Cortez and Shouto were both stuck at Fairy Tail Academy with Apollo Cortez, who the school knows as Natsu Dragneel. That surprised Cortez but not really, she should have known that her big brother was known as the Flame Dragon Hero: Salamander. It made her proud.

Either way, the storm had them grounded literally. She could not fly in this weather for two reasons. She could not fly without damaging her wings and since the weather dropped too low her Quirk would be depleted before they even left the academy. So, they were with the students there.

Gray Fullbuster was an Ice Quirk User, where he could create barriers and weapons out of ice, as well as create crystallized ice. He may seem stoic, but he was a pretty nice guy. Though, he does have a habit of stripping. He scared the living daylights out of Cortez where she kicked him through several doors, scaring Gray as well.

Erza Scarlet has a rare and unique Quirk known as Requip, she creates her own personal space and stores items in there, and easily takes them out or switches items at will. She had a variety of weapons in there. Claymores, hammers, bludgeons, spears, and even armor. That was amazing to the Thermal teen and asked to see her collection. Erza was happy that she found someone who had the same interest in weapons as her.

They even met the Headmaster, Makarov Dreyer, a very old man with the Quirk Gigantification. He may seem intimidating but he was a very caring man and treated everyone like his children. He even has the don't-mess-with-my-children vibe so Cortez clicked with him right away. Makarov even allowed the two to use the training facilities during the storm, just to keep them occupied.

Shouto was training with Gray and Apollo(Natsu) in one section and they were giving the Dual-Quirk user a run for his money. Despite arguing and fighting with each other 24/7 they worked well as a team, using their abilities in tandem like some kind of dance. They were an all-range user who could do both close-range and long-range attacks. Shouto felt like he was being played, pissing him off but getting excited at the same time.

When he first unleashed his flames to melt Gray's ice he was blindsided when he saw his flames get drawn away from the ice and get eaten by Apollo(Natsu). He even had to step back when the pinkette rushed towards him with an even more powerful fire fist, melting the ground.

"Shit, Apollo." Shouto panted, once he was a good distance away from them. "Your Quirk is powerful. Even more so than my Hellfire half. "I am quite envious that you can eat fire and add the power to your own."

Apollo(Natsu) laughed out loud. "Yeah, apparently that is what my Quirk does. Flame Dragon is where I have the characteristics of a dragon where the scales are tough and absorb flames. I can't transform into a full dragon like Ryukyuu but it is still pretty sturdy."

"It is a pain in the ass, that's for sure. I lost count on how many times he destroyed parts of the Academy." Gray said and smirked. "Definitely a persona of a Raging Dragon."

"Want to say that again, Elsa?" Apollo(Natsu) growled, flames coming out of his mouth.

"I said you throw a tantrum like a 4 year old, Flame Brain." Gray replied back, black lines forming along his arm and face and producing a lot of cold air.

"ENOUGH!"

Gray and Apollo(Natsu) both screamed and hugged each other when they heard the booming voice of Erza, who had just finished her training with Aurora. The girls looked bruised and battered but they were smiling from the exercise.

"Your sister is quite strong, Natsu. She will definitely be formidable." Erza replied, smiling in approval. "She amazed me a few times when she was able to get me through my armour."
