*Austin's POV*
*week later*

Madison and I sat a restaurant close by our venue. She was pretty quiet today and so I decided to get some alone time with her so we could talk.

"You okay?" I asked, reaching across the table and taking her hand.

She nodded. "Yeah. I just have a lot on my mind."

I rubbed her hand with my thumb. "Like what?"

She looked at me. "I'm just really nervous about this pregnancy."

I shrugged. "We don't even know if you're pregnant."

"I know. I just keep thinking about it. I wanna be a mom one day, but not right now. It's not the right time. You're gonna be touring like crazy. I just released my new line so that gonna keep me crazy busy." She sighed. "I just don't want us to have to slow down right now." She pouted. "Does that make me a terrible person?"

I shook my head. "No. I was kinda feeling the same way." I shrugged. "I want kids, but not now."

She nodded. "But if we are pregnant, I wanna keep it."

I nodded. "Of course. I do to."

She smiled. "We probably sound so confusing right now."

I chuckled. "Yeah. Probably. We understand eachother though." I kissed her hand. "We got this."

"We can get through anything." She said, winking and standing up. "I gotta pee. I'll be right back."

I nodded. "Okay."

She walked away towards the bathroom and I couldn't help but stare at her butt. I loved the way her hips moved when she walked.

After she left my sight the waitress brought our food. Chicken salad for her. A cheese burger for me. I started eating and waited for her to come back.

After about 4 minutes I thought it was weird for her to be gone so long. After 10 minutes, I got worried.

I waved the waitress over. She came over and smiled. "How can I help you?"

I motioned to the bathrooms. "My fiancé went back there about 10 minutes ago and she's still gone. Could you just go check on her?"

She nodded. "Yeah, of course." She patted my shoulder. "One second."

I watched her go in to the bathroom and then she came right back out, saying something another waiter. Then she waved at me.

I jumped up and went to her. She pointed inside the bathroom. I looked and saw Madison laying on the floor, unconscious. It felt like my heart stopped.

"Madison!" I said, going over and kneeling down next to her and taking her hand. "Mads, wake up." I said, my voice cracking.

"We called 911." The waitress said. "They'll be here soon."

I nodded and checked her pulse. It was slow, but it was there. "Madison wake up right now."

She didn't move.

Someone behind me gasped. "Oh God." A woman said. "Is she dead?"

*Madison's POV*

"How long has she been out?" I heard someone say. It was Alan. I knew his voice.

"Almost two hours now." I heard Austin say. "They think that when she passed out she hit her head on the sink."

"But she's okay?" Alan asked.

"As far as I know." He said.

I opened my eyes and looked around. I laid in a hospital bed attached to some machine. Austin sat at the end of my bed, his back to me. Alan said on the window sill.

My head throbbed. But other than that I felt fine. I remember being the bathroom and getting dizzy and falling, hitting my head. After that, I don't remember anything.

I sat up a little bit. "Baby?" I said.

Austin and Alan both whipped around to look at me. Austin smiled. "Mads, you're awake." He came over to me and hugged me. "You scared the shit out of me."

Alan came and sat next to me. "Do you remember what happened?"

I nodded. "Yeah. I was washing my hands and I got really dizzy, and I fell and hit my head."

Austin held my hand. "How do you feel now?"

I looked at him. "I have a terrible headache."

Alan kissed my forehead. "I'll go get a nurse and then I'm gonna go back to the bus and let everyone know what's going on." He got up and walked away.

I looked at Austin and frowned. "Wait, don't you have a show today?"

He shook his head and held my hands. "Nope. We cancelled it. I wanted to be here with you."

"Baby, you didn't have to do that." I said.

He nodded. "Yes I did. I didn't know what happened. You scared me."

Someone knocked on the door and I looked over and saw a doctor. She smiled at me. "Hi, Sleeping Beauty."

I smiled. "Hello."

She came over and sat on the edge of my bed, looking over my chart. "Okay. Well." She looked at me. "You hit your head pretty hard. You have a mild concussion. Nothing to worry about. You'll have a good sized bump for awhile."

I nodded. "Okay."

She looked at Austin and then back at me. "You're fiancé told us that there was a chance you could be pregnant. We did some tests and they came back negative."

I looked at Austin and he smiled softly and squeezed my hand. I looked back at the doctor. "So when can I go home?"

She smiled. "Just sign your release papers and you can be on your way. But, we believe the reason you fainted was low iron in your blood. We understand you're anemic so just make sure you keep up on your pills."

I nodded. "Okay. Thank you."

I signed my papers and after about 15 minutes I was dressed and we were on our way. Austin told me that they cancelled the last 2 shows and we were heading home. We stopped at the venue to get Oliver and our stuff and then we hit the road. I couldn't help but be a little happy that the test was negative. I looked over at Austin while he was driving and reaches over and held his hand. We had our whole lives ahead of us. We would wait a few years, after we were married, and then we'd have lots of babies. But now, this was my time. I had my new clothing line. We wanted to move soon. It would be too hard to have a baby right now.

I kissed Austin's hand and smiled. "The world is ours, baby."

He smiled. "Hell yeah."

"What are we gonna do when we get home?" I asked.

He smiled. "Anything you want."
