"𝐈'𝐦 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬," Carolynne said as she looked down at the chipped white colouring on her nails.Lucy's face lit up, she'd been dying for an excuse for a girl's night,"bring up the polish to my room and I'll do them."
"Awe thank you Lucy," Carolynne smiled back at her before disappearing into the library. The three in the hall were completely bewildered on how calm she was after what had just happened at the house.
"You know how you said Carolynne keeps you calm?" Lucy said to Lockwood and he nodded. "Yeah, I get why. How is she so calm?"
Lockwood shrugged, "no idea."
The first thing Carolynne did when she walked into her room was take her morning iron tablet. She then started rifling through drawers, trying to remember where she kept the bag of nail polishes. She finally found it and took it out before shutting the drawer. As she was about to leave she pulled on her slipper boots before finally walking out into the libary. On the otherside of the sliding doors that separated the living room and library Carolynne could hear a conversation between Lockwood and was that Flo? She felt herself smile.
"Save your kisses for angel face." That made Carolynne pause in the library doorway.
"What?" Lockwood knit his brow as he asked, but there was a nervousness spawning in his gut as he was certain who she was talking about. She always commented, "who?"
