𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐨, her mind was racing with so many thoughts and memories all at once. It was unbearable. No matter how much she curled into Lockwood or listened to the sound of his steady heart beat, she just couldn't sleep.

Carolynne sighed as she sat up, lifting her head from the crook of Lockwoods neck. She glanced at his peaceful expression before slipping from the bed with an exasperated breath. Once her bare feet touched the floor she stretched, the sleep shirt riding up. Carolynne turned her head with a yawn to make sure she hadn't flashed Lockwood but he was still asleep - snoring quietly.

Carolynne walked quietly to the door and given the fact it was only shut to it was easy to open and close behind her without making any noise.

Downstairs in the kitchen the clock on the microwave read '4:13', Carolynne didn't bother turning on any lamps in there given the fact the moon was shining through the window. She felt wide awake despite the time and she knew that if she didn't fall asleep soon she'd regret it later. Carolynne put her hands on the worktop and closed her eyes, life could be frustrating sometimes. She stood up straight again and took a glass cup out of the cupboard and poured herself a glass of water and sat on the worktop.
