IT'S been four days. four days of the deepest sorrow i could have ever imagined. i had tried not being all too hard on myself, but sometimes i just couldn't help it. losing a relative, it probably was everyones worst fear.
i strolled around the halls, glancing left and right every once a while. it was the way i comforted myself. i just wanted to know this place better so that i could get along by myself. it was definitely a giant task, considering how big this mansion was.
i passed by my room. remembering hyunjin's was just on the other side, my eyes flew over and grew in surprise when the door was open. there he sat, focused on the canvas in front of him. he drew a beautiful black vase with lots of flowers in it. the main color was blue, which was joined by yellow, red and purple.
i really liked his drawing. such sweet accents and precise lines, as if each of them had an individual meaning. as if each line was a puzzle piece and together they formed the whole puzzle.
of course i didn't go by unnoticed, and soon enough i had a confused hyunjin staring at me from the corner of his eye, making me think he was judging me. honestly, he probably was.
