SEONGHWA, mister cho and yoshi were nowhere to be seen. it was probably for the best right now.
they were all standing in an empty parking lot, hyunjin trying his best to protect y/n of what may come. there was a drop of sweat gleaming on the side of his face, not because he was exhausted, but rather because he was stressed.
this was the first time he was seeing mingi ever since he had cut ties with him. as soon as hyunjin had found him in his apartment, standing over the bodies of kkami and soobin, he had kicked him out immediately with tears in his eyes.
it took a lot in him to even attempt to get over this. it was safe to say he still wasn't. he was still partly blaming himself for it. he kept on telling himself that he should've been there and that he should've just took his pet with him, instead of letting soobin come over.
still, he definitely wanted and needed to avenge them both. they never deserved to die. he loathed the person standing in front of him more than anyone or anything else. he hated the way he stood there with that cool attitude and that damn smug expression.
hyunjin's hand began to squeeze y/n's a little tighter, which she felt right away. it was as if she could feel everything he was going through. "you got this, i know you do." she tried to assure him, seeking his eyes without success.
