My relationship with Seamus was popular amongst our friends. As Harry, Ron and Hermione were spending a lot of time in the library trying to find information on this stone that was being guarded on the third floor, I spent my afternoons with Luna when Seamus was occupied elsewhere. "Daddy and me are going on an exciting and challenging hunt in the summer holidays." Luna announced. "Really? What are you going to search for on your adventure?" I asked her with polite curiosity. "Nargals, they live in mistletoes, Daddy is doing his next article in them, we want to prove their existence and that they're not made up or extinct in this world." She answered in a dreamy tone. Luna's father wrote 'The Quibbler'. "That sounds really fun. I hope you succeed." I said in a cheery tone. She nodded. "Well, you're most welcome to join us at any time." She admitted. I grinned at her. "Are you ready for dinner? We could walk there together?" I wondered. Luna nodded and we walked to the Great Hall discussing Thestrals on the way (horse-like creatures with wings that can only be seen by those who have witnessed death). We said goodbye at our table before sitting down. Seamus kissed my cheek as a greeting and Ron, Hermione and Harry looked very excited about something.
The feast was great as always. When I returned to the common room, Seamus and I cuddled up in the corner, doing our homework whilst others were playing various games or chatting about all sorts. "I'm tired, I'll see you in the morning." I told Seamus as the common room started to empty..we kissed goodbye, sending sparks through my veins. I climbed up the stairs to the dormitory before getting into bed. Just a few minutes later, I heard Hermione get up. "Hermione? Where are you going?" I whispered. She jumped backwards at the sound of my voice but managed to hold in a startled scream. "I'm going to stop Snape getting the Philospher's stone. Please, please, please don't tell a soul Savannah. I'd hate to get expelled. Harry and Ron need me. I best get going now." She confessed. I promised I wouldn't. "Be careful." I smiled before watching her sneak out.
A loud bang coming from the common room woke the girls up with a start. "What was that?" Lavender Brown yawned as lights from different wands appeared to see in the pitch black darkness. I shrugged my shoulders. "Go back to sleep, I'll go and investigate, I'll let you know if it's serious." I informed them. They happily agreed. I went into the common room to find my brother paralysed on the floor. Someone had casted the full body-bind curse on him- Petrificus Totalus. I rushed to his side, his eyes looked at me with horror and fear. "It's okay, I'll fix you." I ensured him before performing so counter-curse. "I had to stop them! Hermione, R-Ron, H-Harry, they were going outside after hours again, I-I don't want more points taken off us- I-I don't want them to get into trouble- they're my friends... am I bad person? I don't want anyone to get into trouble, no one at all." Neville explained, panic clear in his voice. "Well, I think you were brave to stand up to them." I smiled before hugging him. He smiled appreciably.
