My third year was crazy. We discovered that this mass murderer Sirius Black, that had escaped Azkaban, was Harry's godfather. He was innocent and Ron's rat Scabbers, who was a man innin an Animagus form, did it and sold Harry's parents to Voldemort. Our new Defence Against The Dark Arts teacher was a werewolf, Harry found a cool map, Hagrid became a professor, Hermione slapped Draco Malfoy and travelled through time and dementors ruined Harry's life. Dementors are guards of Azkaban, they suck the soul out of you. So yeah, pretty crazy year. I was now fourteen and I was staying at The Burrow (The Weasley's house) with Harry and Hermione to go see the Quidditch World Cup which was between Ireland and Bulgaria. Everyone was excited, even Hermione. We left by Portkey very early in the morning and went to our tent, which was huge inside despite its tiny appearance. "I'm going to meet Seamus, if that's okay?" I announced. Everyone nodded.
Seamus and I were still going strong after four years. Seamus left me a map to find his tent. His tent was covered in Irish flags I stepped inside to find him chatting to Dean Thomas and his mother making a cup of tea with her wand. "Hello darlin'." She beamed before hugging me. Dean hugged me too before Seamus held me in an embrace and kissed me on the lips. "I hope you'll be supportin' Ireland t'day." He smirked. I shrugged honestly. "I'm not supporting either, that way I'll be able to keep my boyfriend and friends on my side." I confessed. He chuckled and wrapped an arm around my waist and held me close. "Very sneaky, but I like it." He winked before kissing my forehead. I beamed. Seamus spent the afternoon telling me ridiculous jokes, making me laugh until my stomach ached. I was so in love with him. Night fell and we departed with a kiss so I could walk to the match with the Weasleys, Hermione and Harry.
The arena was colossal and incredibly impressive. Thousands and thousands of fans filled the stadium, some with the green and white Irish colours, some with the red and black Bulgarian colours. The match was spectacular, every player were extremely talented. Despite the fact that Victor Krum (Bulgaria's seeker) caught the snitch, Ireland still triumphed. As soon as their victory was announced, Seamus popped into my mind. I imagined him jumping up and down in glee with his mother, the very image made me smile. We all returned to the tent to find Seamus waiting for us. As I imagined, pure patriotic pride painted his face. "We did it! I'm so glad! Me mam let me come down to find you to celebrate wi' you." He explained happily before kissing me. He stayed for around an hour before we heard loud bangs and screams. Mr Weasley stepped in looked panicked. "We need to leave, now." He instructed.
We followed him out to see the campsite up in flames and corpses lying around us. Tall figures in hooded black cloaks and masks walked towards us, Death Eaters, Voldemort's followers. "I need t' go t' me mam, stay safe." Seamus stated holding my hand firmly in his, panic clearly shining in his eyes. "Please be careful, I love you." I sobbed, kissing him. He gave me a weak smile before letting go of my hand and running off. Although it was natural for him to want to rush away, I could deny the hurt I felt when he didn't say that he loved me back. "Savannah? Come on! We need to get back to the portkey!" Hermione yelled and I ran after her through swarms of anxious, frightened people. We reached an empty space when we realised Harry wasn't with us. When nobody was looking, Hermione, Ron and I charged back to find him. We found him holding his head in pain. "G-Got trampled. B-But my scar, it's burning..." He explained. Spells were then fired at us until Mr Weasley stopped it. We had been accused of casting the Dark Mark. Harry saw a man do it, but couldn't remember who. All we knew that from then, our lives were about to get more dangerous.
