Anna's Apartment ᴺᵉʷ ʸᵒʳᵏ ᶜⁱᵗʸ ⁻ ⁶ ᵐᵒⁿᵗʰˢ ˡᵃᵗᵉʳ
The loud noise of Anna's alarm abruptly disrupts the serene atmosphere around her. It had been six months. Six months since she's been in Dublin. Six months since she's seen Eli. Three months since she's seen Rob. With a loud groan, Anna rubs her face before untangling herself from her white cotton sheets.
As soon as Anna leaves her room, she can hear her phone ringing. Beth was still back in Dublin, still talking to the boys. Beth was the only one who knew that Anna was still hurting from everything that had happened these last six months and that Eli wasn't doing much better.
The brunette boy would try to distract himself, locking himself in his room, and writing songs on his acoustic guitar. Anna had a different approach, going out almost every weekend. Getting hammered and then sleeping with a stranger that she'll never see again. Neither tactic was healthy, however, it kept their minds off of each other for a brief moment before they drifted back to the thought of each other.
Anna often wondered what would have happened if she hadn't walked away from the drunk Eli that night if she had stayed with him. Deep down she knew she made the right decision, she couldn't have hurt Bobby like that. It would've hurt her more than anything to do that to him.
"Good morning sleepy head!" Anna rubs her eyes as she picks up the phone and heads to her small New York Apartment kitchen. She gives her best friend a light smile for turning her attention to preparing her bagel.
"Sleep well last night?" Beth says trying to get a response out of her best friend. "Same old, same old" Anna says quietly before putting her bagel on a plate and walking over to her couch. Beth frowns knowing that her best friend has been in the slumps for months now, and there was nothing she could do to get her out of it.
"Hey, I know these past few months have been hard on you. I know that you're the licensed therapist and all, but I'm here to talk if you need to." Beth gives her best friend a look of sympathy through the screen, wishing she wasn't three thousand miles away from her.

Raindrops start to fall from the sky as the brunette boy stumbles closer to the auburn girl. "Anna...I- I know you chose Rob and I'm happy for you, I really am" The rain starts to fall faster "But, Anna...I don't know if I could ever get over you..." Tears start to mix with rain as the distance between them closes.
