- Anna's Birthday Dinner
ⁿⁱⁿᵉ ᵖ.ᵐ.
The restaurant was filled with laughter as Beth told a story of Anna from when they were in middle school. It was an embarrassing story that Anna couldn't believe Beth was telling. Anna's birthday dinner was a small gathering, she had only invited Beth and Debra to the dinner. The group had just sat down for dinner.
It wasn't long before Beth got up, "I'll be right back." Is all she says before leaving the table. Seconds later she appears again with a familiar brunette by her side. "I hope you don't mind, I invited Timmy to join us." A smile plasters itself on Anna's face as she greets him.
"No, not at all," Anna says with a smile on his face. His lengthy arms wrap themselves around her body embracing her in a hug. The two stay in the embrace for a second too long before Anna realizes and pulls away. "Um, this is Debra. She works with me." Debra and Timothee exchange a nice smile before they sit down in the round booth. It was towards the back of the restaurant and the lighting was dim which Timothee appreciated.
"This is really lovely, thanks for inviting me," A smile plasters itself on Timmy's face as he sits right next to Anna. Beth continues her embarrassing story of Anna, sparking even more embarrassment from Anna. Her face goes redder than a tomato as she hides it behind her hands. Timothee laughed the loudest, totally amused by the story of her trying to juggle to impress her 6th-grade crush just because she heard he liked talented girls.
Throughout the whole night, Beth and Debra exchanged funny stories about Anna. Timothee quite enjoyed it, however, Anna eventually got so embarrassed that her head found itself hiding on Timothee's arm. To be very honest, Anna had no real romantic feelings for Timothee, not like she had with Eli. Her celebrity crush was turning into a close friend to her.
As the night winds down, Timothee takes out his card from his wallet. "What are you doing?" Looking at him in shock, Anna says, "You don't have to pay for this ya know?" Timothee just shoots her a polite smile before putting his card down. The waiter takes his card and Anna turns to Timothee with a frown on her face.
"Aww Anna, don't do that to me!" Timothee whines as he looks at Anna's pout. "I felt like doing something nice!" Anna doesn't say a thing, continuing to look at him with her puppy dog eyes and pout. Beth and Debra find themselves laughing at the duos antics. Eventually the waiter comes back with the card.
