Lover by Taylor Swift blasts through the speakers while Anna makes some morning pancakes. Her hips flow to the sound of the music as she stands by the stove, giving her pancakes little chocolate chip smiles. Anna had been on cloud nine since she'd returned from seeing her boyfriend.
She felt like a teenage girl experiencing love for the first time again, so giddy. It's like nothing could bring her down at that moment. She had left the night before the band left Chicago. Eli had driven her to the airport himself.

"It's like you just got here...I don't wanna let you go-" Eli swarms his girl in a big hug, his head nuzzled into her neck. His warm breath on her neck gives her goosebumps. He may be an inch taller than her, but right now it looks like Anna is the taller one.
"I don't want to either...but I have a job and cat to return to" Anna chuckles in Eli's warm embrace. She felt at home in his arms. The couple stayed in the embrace, Eli pressing light kisses onto Anna's forehead. Eventually, though, Anna pulls away from him, knowing the longer she stays in his arms the harder it'll be to break away.
And with that Anna is gone with the swarm of people. Eli found himself missing her the second she disappeared into the crowd. He returned to the boys as soon as he could, hoping that surrounding himself with other people he loved would stop him from missing her so much.

A part of Anna couldn't believe that they were together! He was hers, she was his. Anna couldn't help but miss the Irish boy as the song turned from Lover to Valentine. Without missing a beat, her phone suddenly starts to ring as Anna sits at her small kitchen table. The photo he took of himself on a drunken night popped up on her phone. Anna enthusiastically answers the phone, pausing her music. "Elii!" Anna's pitch going higher than normal. Mittens watches intently, sitting on the chair across from her best friend.
"Anna! you picked up, I assumed you'd still be sleeping." His voice was deep and raspy as he spoke. Almost as if he were trying to make his voice sound deeper than it was. However, a smile was evident in his voice. "Nope, some Irish rockstar kept me up all night." Anna giggled causing butterflies to erupt inside Eli's stomach on the other side of the phone. Anna goes back to eating her pancakes while Eli playfully responds, "Really?...cuz some random therapist lady kept running through my mind all night too-."
"Get a room!" Anna can hear Bobby shout in the background of the call causing the duo to chuckle. "I miss you..." Eli says first, a smirk forms on Anna's face. Mitten meows at the sight and walks away, uninterested in the scene. "Aww...I miss you more bubs. What city are you guys in right now?"
